I retired to the Philippines so I could raise and fight my Fowl without prejudiced it’s my best life ever I’m glad I saved it to the end I love my gamecocks
There are a lot of expats like you who chose to raise and fight their chickens here in the philippines. How do you find your stay so far? Ours is far from a perfect country but the people here are generally accomodating and friendly. I wish you luck in all your endeavors here.
@Alexandro Hancock thank the big breeders why they banned the sport the greedy fuckers who won big derbies or the ones who owned pits never tried to figure out a way to give the government there cut our government is the biggest mafia out here shit don't fly there way bam take it away just like any mob boss would do to others not paying taxes...
I got hooked on drugs. Got pulled over went to jail was detoxing. Got out the next day had to wear a drug patch. I was hurting; depressed lost my job and my wife was disappointed in me. But she told me that she knew I could beat it and get better. She looked at me and told me hunny just focus on your gamefowl and I’ll work and carry us. Cock fighting was the only thing that pulled me out of drugs. It’s been 3 years now I’ve been clean. I’ve got better gamefowl, my wife is still here. I just bought her a new car myself a new boat. We both got fantastic jobs paying are taxes! If not for game birds I’d be totally opposite. Thank you for carrying on gamefowl and saving my life thank you to all!
I have a very similar story ,if it weren't for game birds to focus on I would most likely be dead now. I got addicted to heroin and that's all I cared about every day all day for about 5 years. I stopped raising birds damn near destroyed my family exhausted all funds . one day I got arrested for possession my wife wanted to kill my ass because I had hid my addiction and lied to her to the point she was ready to pack her shit and leave.well that day I checked into detox got clean stuck with a program and needed an outlet to busy my mind busy..I still had all my equipment for raising birds got my money up and started over with 4 roosters and 8 hens.that was 5 years ago now and I haven't looked back .so a big thank you to my wife for sticking by me and reminding of my passion , and Johnny Jumper even though I never met him or Nathan personally for providing amazing birds ,this has got my life back on track and gave me a purpose again. Thank you for sharing your story and good luck on continuing your sobriety. Long live the game fowl heritage.
It's part of the cultures of south east asian peoples too. The spanish texts says that when they came here in the Philippines in 1521, natives were already fighting "big but unusally tamed cocks", those were the exact words of the writer Pigafetta.
As long as there are so many organizations for the protection of animals, eg. PETA, that do not know anything about the cockfighting and that they accuse the farmers of inducing them and training them to fight. And as long as they receive hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations, they will continue to enforce the criminalization of the cockfighting. Money talks.
If we came here to be free, times have dramatically changed. I believe they came with us probably on the "May Flower" if our original founders of this country raised and participated in this sport, why isn't it that there not considered a living monument like the Shamo are in Japan? The American game cock is beautiful and noble as well as brave. What a great animal he is!
What fannates me about cockfighting is that it's appeal transcends age ethnicity race gender nationality lanuage and religion and almost all civilisations practiced it at some point in their history
Gamebirds & Gamedogs need to be brought back legal.. At least then, the scumbags and backyard breeders would have NO place in these animal's & they'd all have access to real vet care & everything else. In reality, it's the BEST choice FOR THE ANIMAL'S!!!!
They tried one time in the philippines, blocking cockfighters by means of demonstration, cockfighters beat their asses on the spot! they never comeback, cockfighting went on!
It will never become illegal to fight chickens in the philippines. A lot of the law makers here are breeders and fight their chickens themselves. Not that im complaining.
how is cock fighting immoral when they get taken away they get put down. but before they get taken there treated like kings. gamefowl are warriors gladiators doing whats natural to them. we do much worse things to the livestock that we eat. we love our birds and its shown thrue the time and effort that we put into them some dogs get less attention and broiler chickens only get a few months to live and they throw baby roosters into grinders now thats immoral
Meanwhile in the Philippines a lot of Derby's especially on october to next year May, Illegal also for People don't have a lot of Money especially on Fiesta,They call it "TUPADA"I almost got caught,The COPS just come in Pretending to be Player and announced,it's Raid after they make MONEY,so I RUN and left my SLIPPER,I'm glad I still have some Money,One of the Player bought me one in the STORE:)))it's a BAD DAY DAMMIT..
Bawal talaga kung walang permit. Simple lang. Maswerte parin tayo dahil malaya tayo nakakapagsabong di gaya ng mga kano. Wala makakapigil sayo magsabong basta sa sabungan mo ilaban yan or kahit tupada basta may permit.
My Dad was a cockfighter. He passed on last year. His last birds were Roundhead.I plan to raise some as soon as I can

Mike Hall you'll be surprised how much money you can make raising game fowl. you just have be passionate about it
I got in a bad wreck, and was on crazy pills. The only thing that kept me moving was my birds. I owe my life to them, keep em crowing fellas
it's about time somebody speaks the truth about our sport
Bring back this old tradition. Home of the free :(
I love my game birds, love to watch them do what they do
Yeah you right!
Man,how I wish we could fight our fowl. People don’t understand how amazing these animals are
amen to that
My family has been involved with Games for more generations then they were in America. Let us keep our Culture & Heritage & help our community.
Own gamefowl my whole life, started at six, now I am sixty one,
My favorite sport. Oldest sport aka sport of Kings.
This was the time when you can call America great.
The old guy knows his stuff.
This is and always will be a great American tradition
This is great tradition of the friends americans and mexican
This is great vídeo is wonderful

Lets keep on doing are shows and lets keep gamefowl alive
I THINK ITSA PART OF THE CULTURE ...IS A SPORTS ..LET IT COME BACK. ITS A PASSION .
It's not culture it's animal abuse
Save the sport. Fight !!!
i am a proud cocker born and raised with it i dont tell u which church to go to dont tell me what to do with my property
May the Game Cock crow forever
Sad to say it'll probably never be legal again I think in the future it might even be against the law to even own gamefowl
It is time for Us to bring it back. It's time we stand and fight for our rights
Thats wishful thinking.
Too many snowflakes now days

Fun fact, the gamecock fell 2nd to the bald eagle for being our national bird.
keeps kids out of trouble look at them know
I agree.. Keeps the small boys out of trouble and learn to be responsible
Cesar Serrato keeps me responsible and occupied I love it
Tired of city folks making decitions for rural america just let us keep our culture and leave us alone
Damn right
Not culture animal abuse
I can watch this kind of video all day long rather than BS & hypocrite videos from liberals!
I just like the birds shown here
If only these animal rights people would look into gamecocks they’d see we don’t make them fight they love to fight
Great video
thank you for this video .this made my day appreciate this very important video.its a shame what a few peaple could do to this country over night.
Bonjour from the old Sunset pit area .
Sabong IS the national sport in the Philippines!!!
Just like gamedogs these birds are treated better than most people's pets
What fannates me about cockfighting is that it's appeal transcends age ethnicity race gender nationality lanuage and religion and almost all civilisations practiced it at some point in their history

Man I wished my videos were never deleted on UA-cam so I can show you all how smart my birds were!
These Breeders being featured are celebrity famous like here in the philippines..
I would move to the US in a heartbeat if only cockfighting is legal there.
They tried one time in the philippines, blocking cockfighters by means of demonstration, cockfighters beat their asses on the spot! they never comeback, cockfighting went on!
Americans can only talk about their 2A rights but will never actually fight for it on the streets
It will never become illegal to fight chickens in the philippines. A lot of the law makers here are breeders and fight their chickens themselves. Not that im complaining.
