that was awesome, just sitting in a radio station studio, early in the morning and singing like that. These guys are truly blessed. They have been my favorite band since 1999. I am sure they always will be.
The hurt was me when my 11 yr old passed away in Sept 2010. My hurt and the Healer collided. I was angry and through His Grace showed up a year later and showed me HIS love and Grace and Understanding... I learned... My child I bore in birth was actually His..... I belong to Him as well... Melissa Hughes I feel your pain. I as well have had great loss. Yes you are so correct. We are children of God. My brother passed away in front of my mother and I. He was 24. My parents have passed. They are together now. I play and sing this song October 29th 2017 every year we do a service to remember our love one's that are with the Lord. Listen to homesick by MercyMe and close your eyes and you will hear and see him. I do. Stay blessed and leave your burdens at the cross.
Having the privilege to be there live when they did this was an amazing opportunity. The people in the background won a chance to sit down and have breakfast and coffee with the guys and then get autographs and suck afterwards. That's me in the sunglasses behind the 2 guitar players. After they did this, we went to another room and I got them to sign both my guitars and got a couple pics too. Such amazing guys!!!
