I am way below this income range for this video, however, I think it is important for me to learn, because I will be, and I like making plans with information!
I am poor, but this has been vital for me to organise a meagre investment income in 2 other countries to avoid various taxes etc and to be able to live well in my dotage in 3 countries. In my opinion it works even better if you dont have money.
@@jillybe1873 that is interesting. I would probably enjoy talking to you more. So you are actually freer even with limited income using this idea than I am not using it... And since I want to be free myself...I can learn from you. Do you have videos about that...because you would get views.. I most certainly.
That poster didn't think this through. Open up an Internet advertising business in Panama. Then open a US biz. Then run all your US biz Internet Advertising expenses through the offshore biz. 0 out your Us biz income every year via Internet Ad expenses. US taxes = 0. Panama taxes =0. Think people, totally legal too.
Andrew, I see that your prime customer is people who are looking to expand a business or businesses. Do you have any ideas for people like me who are looking to retire and take it easy? We don't have the energy to start and maintain businesses. We just want to chill out in freedom. I think you'll find a large supply of customers who would fit that mold if you have anything to offer.
I spend most of each year in Colombia, South America, and will become a Citizen next year (second passport). Andrew also has a home here in Bogota', although that's my least favorite city in the country. His priorities are different than those of a retiree. I would be happy to share information if you are interested.
Something important was said here. Because of FATCA, for a US person, it may be important to have another citizenship to open up financial accounts in other countries that won't take US persons. With that said, if you're maintaining your US citizenship, be sure to report your different assets around the globe to not get into trouble.
It sounds like the questioner was asking about setting up a factory or something requiring a lot of physical infrastructure in a low tax/emerging country. I suppose it wouldn't be as easy as in a richer country, but the locals seem to be able to do it.
I understand the concept of offshore company lets say in Dubai but has operations in say the US. But as an entrepreneur, how do you get the funds out of Dubai for personal use in the US?
I was wondering if you could (or have already) done a video on which banks (by country) are safe for timid Canadians who are trying to ensure their money is not tied up in Canada?
I would be interested in that strategy as well. I believe you need to be boots on the ground, with some ties to the country (residence status) most of the time. That is, unless you have a large bank roll and can make an opening 7-figure deposit. Then I think the Swiss would be happy to speak with you. I am planning to leave Canada later this year, but for now I've got self-custody crypto assets. Also looking at offshore gold bullion storage. Physical metal is an option too, though probably not in too large a quantity. Might be a long and awkward conversation at Customs. You might look at Wise (formerly Transferwise). I believe they allow you to maintain a balance with them. So like a bank account. I've used them for out of country wire transfers and have been very happy with them. I haven't gone the deposit route with them yet, as I wanted to make sure that they don't fall under Canadian regulation.
Andrew you never talk about India. Probably for good reason. But I love Indians. Rational and conservative, you know? This is my attempt at capturing your attention with india. Also up and coming hard working people
Hi Andrew, I was wondering how you get around the Co-vid travel restrictions now and in the future? What you talk about has got me fired up but I wonder how you can live your lifestyle without being vaccinated? As a Canadian, it means we need to plan somewhere accessible by road should they shut down air travel again. This limits us to Mexico basically......(I'm assuming you are vaxxed).
I don't think this video is titled correctly. Should be something like, rebuttal to the people who think you have to live/do business in St Kitts if you buy their passport.
In current scenario of global political and financial instability it is the most important thing to diversify, so that you can leverage from the upcoming economies.

I'm concerned that the treatment I don't like in Canada is enveloping the whole world. Also, will supply of food and energy be sustained if the USA is in short supply
I’m must share something with this video audience that I just read that is very disturbing and I am a long time subscriber 😀and agree with most of all of what is said here. On another UA-cam video which is about public transport which I am for and also for more bike leads and in countries like Canada and in the United States. I thoroughly agree with that but a person stated that she is for all rich people in the United States and I’m not sure if she mentioned United States or Canada or both but she said they should all pay 90% tax!!! She really believes that or he and that is how they would Fund public transport and help poor people which I’m fine with some of taxes being used for that it but also she’s under the impression that of all rich people do not earn their money. And at least 21 people agreed with her and this is a recent comment so I’m assuming there’s a greater number than that very quickly with this. Also she did not define what they mean by rich people if she just means billionaires or millionaires or what. And she ended with and if they do not agree they can just leave the country and leave our good resources etc. I found this very disturbing thought that people think that it is right to take 90% of peoples money by taxes if they happen to have more and they don’t believe they earned any of it. !!!!???
@@torontovoice1 thanks for your well thought out reply. . Even though I am certainly not on the order of Elon Musk anywhere near that amount if you have some investments it becomes a bit concerning when some people are really set upon this 90% tax and taking away wealth and stating children should never inherit any wealth. But what wrote Made me think I do not have to overly worry but it’s always good to plan.
I wonder if you do it on purpose, you seem like a person who knows a lot but you ramble a lot and I don’t fully get the point of your videos, you didn’t explain how offshore companies work, just speak about some random comment that nobody cares, be useful to your audience and get to actual information
