Really, the one who got nerfed to the ground was McGillis. He spends the entire series as this mastermind magnificent bastard, only to be unceremoniously killed because his ultimate plan relied on the sketchiest people in the world to obey 300 year old rules-lawyering. The should make an MSV of the RB-79 in his colors. They can call it the Idiot Ball.
Fuck it, it pulled out a hell of a battle. It went toe-to-toe with kimaris vidar and still gave Gaelio AND Ein a hard time, especially considering it's a 300 y/o unchanged MS against a constantly upgraded MS that beats it in arsenal and armor. McGillis and Bael are still a strong force to be reckoned with in the field.

it would probably be easier to modify the HG, with the MS option sets and the wide array of extra parts you have for that scale. I added an underslung gatling gun and the Geirail Scharfrichter shield (option set) onto mine. I wouldnt say Bael was overhyped, its probably the fastest MS in IBO, (gali backed off for a reason while in his vidar in the hanger). It took an ultra enhanced Kimaris +Eins AV to get a draw with it.
+Sono I am talking set wise, coming off the Lupus Rex he just feels lacking(maybe wing effect parts could have helped). I just felt like he could had something extra. Also, my hands are too big for HG so I stick to the 1/100 scale for safety precautions. Any tips for that scale(I might have to make custom parts too)?

OMG! I am so lucky, last week I ordered both the 1/100 Vidar and Lupus. I am so happy that I chose the two IBO kits that you prefer out of the Full Mechanics line. Both designs I *LOVE*. I just picked up this and the Vidar at the gundam base pop up in LA, Vidar at the pop up in lil Tokyo, and bael at a shop across the street.
That bael reminds me of barbatos lupus except barbatos and baek had different armor, affiliation, and weapons

I love how Bandai has no issue re-using the Barbatos frame on kits a year later on FM kits, but the Gusion had to have a unique frame used only once

I much prefer the proportions of the HG on this one. Slimmer Swords and just imo more attractive MS body.
Yeah I like the HG's swords more but I do prefer the balance of the FM's body.
If only season two wasnt such a clusterfuck I d enjoy this more. :/
There's a very simple solution to getting rid of the emblem for customization. Make a mould of the other shoulder's parts.
That's a lot of movement without pieces flying off. Were pieces glued together or something? My other kits can't be touched or peices pop off..

I don't see an issue with the emblem: if you want to customize, just paint over it, or maybe use putty to flatten it.
