What happens when the fabric is caught between the fabric at the factory and shipped in this manner. And then I mount it and open it up and there are holes worn threw from the fabric rubbing on the rivets in the frame?
Is Ikamper going to remedy the issue? You can't inspect the awning upon delivery until you are able to mount it.
Unfortunately because of family illnesses, I was not able to mount it for quite some time. It doesn't change the fact it was packed incorrectly at the factory.
I will be contacting Ikamper customer service when I return from this trip.
The awning is very nice and easy to open up and take down, it is just disappointing to open it up for the first time and find 3 holes in a $1,800 awning?

Having attempted it yesterday we really need a tutorial on the Exoshell side walls - too much guesswork involved with just the label pictures 🤓🙏

Tip: Show completed setup in first few seconds then show setup. Saves allot of time for viewer.

Can the rooftop tent still open with the awning out? The tent box tilts out so is there enough room with the awning box there or do you need to shift the tent to the right on the roofbars to make room?

You have to make sure it all works together but yes everything should open together

I just mounted the 270 on my 4runner paired with the skycamp mini, I had to move the tent over passenger side about 2 inches to allow the lid to clear the awning case when open. I'm using the L brackets supplied with the awning and it will stick out some.
