Can you show video on how to run multiple engines on layout with tech 6 hand held. Suppise to be able to run up to 6 loco simultaneously or at same time if wanted to.
I tried this on the Acela Express and it works, but the Acela Express is kinda slow with this power pack. All the features work, but it won't run at full speed.
How do you use it to program the locomotive address in DCC? Is the “dual mode” really DCC or is it just standard DC that allows you to access the sound features on a DCC equipped loco?
Just getting into model RR , and just got the MRC tech 6 . My question is , to turn it on/off , the only way is to plug in and unplug power wire from wall whort ??? I would think they'd put and on/off switch/button on the panel . thanks for any info . Steve
If the address at 3 default. One thing James didn't mention is how many trains can run independently in DCC. I pretty sure its three. The system only supports address 1,2, and 3.
I used KAT24825 extension chord. You will need to snip off one end then strip the wires with a wire stripper. The nice thing about using KAT24825 is you can then leave this connected, and simply disconnect the other end from your feeder track. - strip about an inch then twist the wires tight - loosen the screws, insert wires, screw them back down tight. This worked perfectly for me, running N Scale and have two BLI (broadway limited) locos. It was great to finally hear the bells, whistles, sounds, etc.
Tech 6 with the Bachmann GG1 sound Value is chill!!!

can you use common rail with a standard DC power pack in STD or Dual mode?
How do I connect to an engine of choice with this power pack??
Wondering if your still buying MTH SD70ACE 1Gauge
Yes!
Does this connect to bachmann power tracks?
The system seems to pick up the DCC engine address from the looks of the video without having to put the engines address in. Is that correct?

Can you use more than 1? If you're running dcc?
yes, I don't see why they would conflict. You should be ok sir.
@@jlwii2000 I think the max is three. Only supports addresses 1,2, and 3.
Is this only for HO?
You can use it for N scale also. I run mine on N scale
Which connector for Kato track?
