@rihyoncéastraschild Haha, I see what you mean! Let me try again: "This video is hilarious and iconic, but also super informative and educational. You're a total star, love you babes!" How’s that? 😄
It sounds like a Dua Lipa song, but not Training Season specifically. I would've just assumed that the song was highly inspired by Dua Lipa's discography.
@@p.e.c.541 Did you even read my comment ??? I never said that doing this is good or that you will get away with it. i never said, "I'm going to do this with each and every song in existence to create my own discography compiled using the works of other artists whilst maintaining my own unique feel so i can avoid copyright." Thank you.
U do realise that regardless, making ur own song you’ve probably ripped off someone else anyway because no melody is original. So it doesn’t matter whether it’s intentional or not
8:36 I would- because you literally just took the song and it's entirety but changed it a little bit, the samples, melody, and LYRICS/lyrical themes. good song tbh
a musician/youtuber called “dev limes” does these fun song challenges where she creates a song’s production and vocals from scratch while her computer is on mute and it’s sooo funny i would absolutely love to see you try it
hey alina:) i just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart because you have helped me so much with your videos. I have watched nearly every single video you have uploaded and you are such a big inspiration for me. my goal is to someday be able to make music like you, especially music that has a similar vibe to kpop. so thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Similar situations. 1 Late Michael Jackson told Daryl Hall that the baseline of Billie Jean was influenced by the Hall and Oates song I Can't Go for That. Hall said OK 👌 because that was not note for note plagiarism. 2 Tears For Fears 😨. Everybody Wants to Rule the World 🌎. Joe Strummer demanded £ 5 from Roland Orzabal, the main writer of the song. Reason: that was the title from a Clash song! RO gave it. Happy 😊 ending. 2 years later, in 1987, Joe Elliott, Phil Collen, Rick Savage, the late Steve Clark and Mutt Lange wrote Animal. Elliott took the played with title of a Neil Young song The Rust Never Sleeps. Young never demanded credit or money 💰. Just do not be like Ray Parker Jr, who was forced to settle with Huey Lewis on the Ghostbusters theme. Or like Lewis, who broke the settlement conditions forcing him to cut ✂️ some of the money 💰 on the agreed terms. Nobody can be like Vanilla Ice: he was forced to settle with Queen and David Bowie.
Video is 🔥. Song DEFINITELY sounds like your source tho. Sounds like you slightly changed the melody + lyrics, but I’d say the average music listener (aka a “jury”) might see it as more or less the same song. 👯♀️👀💭 Great concepts in the video tho. Hopefully your viewers go further with their distancing from their source material. 😅
If you had a similar timber to dua I would mistake one for another. If the lyrics had a less similar theme I would find less obvious and just think it was disco inspired not necessary dua inspired or lifted. Now brave and roar had this effect on me used to think that both were from a longer song. I like them both, but brave rhythm is more interesting.
Okay is it bad if I wanna sample the synth from Babymonsters 'forever'? The one at the very start of the song could easily be turned into a synth on garageband.
The dance in the robber outfit 😭😭
I was about to look for the robber emoji lol, then I remembered…
this is such a funny iconic but very informative and educational video. youre a star love u babes
Thank you ❤❤
This sounds so bot coded lol

what even- SO basically a tutorial on how producers sample an entire song whilst making their own stylistic choices to avoid copyright. nice.
But they said "don't steal, being original is always better", did you even watch the video whole

8:43 absolutely not, i think you'd get away with it. adding the vocal stacks was the right move, it made it feel more original.
Would I clock it if I heard it?
Yes, but in a fun way. I'd be like: oh it sounds like Training Season and I love training season!

fr fr I wanna THINK I would have recognized the song if I heard it somewhere else but I honestly don’t think I would have haha
hii! I just wanted to say, Training Season does not actually contain a sample, it just coincidentally sounds similar to the other song! 💗
I'd be like "oh this sounds familar.. i love this though!"
Love it❤
this videos was really entertaining and funny love your editing

It sounds just like a song from Dua Lipa last album
Wait Alina, 'Better Place' by you and Elli is playing at 1:59??? Is it really that song, or am I wrong 💀
Omg, this proves why 2024 music sounds so generic- like most western and J-pop songs sounding the same.
No but seriously 😅
It’s not a 2024 thing, every music era EVER has songs that sound the same it’s just how trends work
you ppl say this literally every year like pls get a grip

Unrelated to the video, but I wanted to ask what's your go to VST / VST3 audio plugins that you recommend?
Tokyo nights is such a good song I love the Melodiess
Is it bad that I like the song you made and wish you could release it? 😂😂
i want the full version
i feel this song like perfect melody by jonas blue
Your videos are so unintentionally funny 😂 I subscribed!

The melody kinda sounds like Masquerade by Darren Criss 👀

This channel went from B Team to A team. Nice!
Thanks! 😂😂
Also, “…use your big boy mouth”. Whoa. 😳 Someone’s in their lowkey Sabrina Carpenter mindset. 🫠
