Excellent show again. Good shooting by Roy and the piece on the Remembrance Day walk and fund raising was great. Thank You for the show and the reminder.
Another excellent episode! Have to agree with Roy, this night vision and thermal isn’t really fair. It’s gone from them having a fair sporting chance to almost nothing. I certainly agree that some areas need it as the numbers are so great, but I always see people complaining that they don’t see fox any more as they are on them all the time with thermal! It’s sort of getting that balance! The same is also applying to Deer in Scotland with the forestry commission using the same sights to just eradicate deer during all hours of the day.
A poignant reminder of the role gamekeepers played in WW1; my grandfather was gassed in the trenches and was no longer fit enough to do his pre-war job as a gamekeeper. Well done chaps.
What exactly is it that the foxes do that sees you hunt them down and kill them with such determination? Do they really cause that much damage/injury to livestock?
Thanks for this. We carry the more extreme stories In our news bulletins. We will keep an eye out for stories that highlight the national scale of fox predation. In the meantime, if you haven't seen it already, here's a film you might like: ua-cam.com/video/5hYiFgehslQ/v-deo.html
I see, even when you feed the foxes it actually backfires because all you end up doing is to create even more foxes who will destroying even more wildlife and livestock. Your culling method is very humane, the foxes literally don't know what hit them. Keep up the good work.
I am very impressed by the charity walk. God bless you all and thank you for supporting vets!

Yes. / Charlie
Hello, Charlie, can you highlight the many, (I'm assuming), examples of damage and injury the foxes actually cause to livestock then, please?

How would you explain to the tax man that you spent 8000 pounds on a piece of kit like this?
Depends if it's a genuine work expense. But I bet it helps if your local tax office likes shooting. / Charlie
£8K???
It’d be explaining it to the wife that would concern me more.
