Cirque du Soleil slack wire act of Wintuk performed by Chris Pettersen

Chris Pettersen is a performing artist specialised in balance. He is a master on the slack rope as on the slack wire. This is the performance from Cirque du Soleil s Wintuk.
Chris Pettersen also has a act in which the traditional slack rope is combined with the modern slack line, trick line.
By the age of 6 Chris saw a slackrope artist during a circus show, from that moment on he new that he himself wanted to become a professional slackrope circus artist.
The next day his father built a slackrope structure for him in the backyard and Chris started balancing. He never stopped practising and when he finished school he went to the circus gymnasium in Sweden to continue his circus studies. After 3 years he was accepted to Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque in Brussels in Brussels where he gradated as a full blown professional circus artist in 2008.
With his act “Piranha” he has had great success; from Cirque du Soleil, German variety theatres. Performing in the London Olympics 2012 Closing Ceremony. In 2013 he toured with Circus Monti in Switzerland.
