- Yusuf/Cat Stevens is one of the most beloved singer-songwriters of all time, with his such as 'Wild World', 'Father and Son' and 'Moonshadow'.
Speaking to Gold's David Andrews in an episode of Gold Meets recorded back in 2021, Yusuf reflected on growing up in London during the Swinging '60s, and how The Beatles changed everything for him.

Beautiful guy , amazing musician. I grew up with his songs. One day he sold his guitars and turned his back on jesus and God who gave him the gift . What a waste. Imagine how many more beautiful song's he'd have if he didn't make that mistake. Love his songs forever. John lennon got cut short and cat through it away to the Antichrist and spat at God who gave him the talent. Always loved his music
