It's most DEFINITELY better though to compliment the Spirit mask for a moment? I quite frankly am just perplexed no costume company thought of doing this sooner. For years you'd see those cheapo hockey masks that had nothing to do with the movies and the only masks you could get in Halloween stores that were licensed were the foam masks and a latex one. To see someone FINALLY get the idea to just start selling official plastic Jason masks with the correct amount of holes, good hole placement and a decent paint job warms my heart... even if the straps leave something to be desired.

Thanks. You might be surprised what you can pull off. Especially with these, because so little of it needs to be accurate. The messiness is what makes it real.

I'd really like to find a link to order this exact mask in bulk, cheaply. I found one for my 6 yr old son. And turns out I really like the size & shape of it(once nodded like in this video)
They sell Jason hockey masks at Walmart for less than a dollar. Buy a few and go to town. Only issue is, the ones they sell don't fit the face properly and formate to your cheeks.
This is by far the best mask design you've done so far... It goes perfectly with the remake type shape of the Halloween mask, also what did you use to make the blood?
Hey, I got the same base mask from Spirit Halloween, and drew a lot of inspiration from your videos. And I just want to thank you for indirectly leading me to my next hobby lol
For a Halloween store mask? Oh absolutely. It's a good color, it has a decent shape, all the holes are in the right spot and mercifully, it's plastic and a rather decent kind which considering this is Rubies, the same people that brought us years of crap foam masks that often had holes that were off-center and various latex Jason masks ranging from okay to "Did you even watch the movie?", this is a nice surprise. In fact the only criticism one could truly make is that the straps are crap but that's easy enough to fix. But you don't have to settle for that. If you've got a bit of time, patience and the supplies for it? You can take this mask from being pretty good to being awesome.

The plastic is good on the mask the first time I saw it was at comic con and it was like $5.00 and said to myself humph I could make it for $3.00
