Great work! I still have to beat this one. This mission in terms of difficulty is in par with the 2x giant and 2x statue missions, maybe harder. The AI is for some reason worse here, partner tends to use ranged weapons (dealing zero dmg), dragons health got buffed and the dragon uses his moves quite erratically. Even if one is close to him, sometimes he just decides to use his gap closing move for no reason. Or doing the grab, even If one is far away.. yeah, chaotic but doable I think

Yes, unfortunately the AI can be a bit random in this trial, but don't get discouraged, it might take you a few hours to beat this, especially the dragon as he is very erratic. The only thing I would recommend is try to determine who the dragon is targeting. Switch to the character he is not and go from there. Always forward triangle and shuriken cancel to shave down his health as quick as possible. Use 360 Triangle for I frames, and save your ninpo for the bugs. The bugs are very annoying however that is the time to use UT's to dispatch them. Good luck bro you got this!
Hey bros. In my opinion this is the hardest trial in NGS2. This took me about 6 hours of attempts, unfortunately the Dragon bit can be a bit luck based. However, there are many things you can do to increase your chances of beating this. Don’t give up. You will need some mental patience and perseverance. Personally, I listened to some podcasts in the background doing this so I didn’t loose my mind. First off. Stick to using double BoTA Ryu. This is very important because he gives you: UT with high damage - used in each wave. Invincibility frames with 360 Triangle for the dragon. Forward Triangle + shuriken cancel does great damage against the dragon. First wave: Straight away use Ultimate NINPO to clear off all the flying dragons, then you must switch character as the spider bosses tend to target the person you are initially. Try to get in one UT, then ultimate Ninpo again. Now try to determine who the spiders are targeting and land a UT. A really easy way to kill these guys is to charge a UT then switch character after the UT lands, that way the AI can damage while you are attacking and charging another one. UT’s are key to beating these guys quickly. Wave 2. Try to charge a UT on the left side and hit multiple machines. See 1:15. Unfortunately this didn’t work for me on this run but sometimes it does. However, if it doesn’t, again determine who the machines are targeting. If you can pull off a UT you could possibly kill 2-3 machines, so that’s the key here. A bit luck based. Wave 3 Ultimate Ninpo. That’s all Wave 4. Oh boy here we go. Screw this dragon. You need to determine who the dragon is targeting and land a few Forward Triangles + Shuriken Cancel whenever the dragon finishes an attack. Always 360 Triangle when the Dragon jumps. When the bugs spawn use Ninpo right away because their Orbs are key to quickly charging a UT. You need to keep an eye on your health. Whenever you have Ninpo WAIT until bugs spawn to use it. From here you can land a UT against the dragon or clear even more bugs and chain UT’s. Honestly there’s not much else I can recommend, if you can get the tail off, focus on landing UTs against the dragon. You can always land one if you charge right away after the dragon’s attack.
