I think there's a difference between caring about what you look like in this reality and still think being ugly but loveable is preferred. Can totally see Esters there. And having good looks and bad circle/reltionships is a lot of short term vaildation. I think you can work on an internal need for validation through your life and find joy in things besides what pretty privilege brings. Also if you were always so far below beauty standards your whole life hopefully you'd be better at not caring to reach them as they were never going to be achievable to you, maybe. Honestly I would rather be ugly with a good personality. It sounds kinda fucked up to say but I’m kinda already the “ugly” one of the group so I already know what being the ugly one feels like and I would much rather be known for being ugly than having a bad personality. It’s basically what Esther said; at least the people around genuinely like me and don’t just tolerate me for my looks. You’d be surprised how quickly people will drop you when you only have one thing going for you.

I am an idealist but also a realist and I am quite sure Esther is capping, no offense. She wouldn't be part of UTI and wouldn't have been a guest without her looks, she reached this level of notoriety because of her looks for the most part and in the past episode she even admitted to being grateful for having a beautiful face. It's her looks that led to her having life on easy mode, she even takes seductive pics cause she knows she can pull it off. This includes VietTrap as well, without his mugshot and notoriety he wouldn't have ended up on UTI in the first place. Even Viet doesn't show any interest when it comes to unattractive women. We are living in a superficial world and Wootak knows how far looks can get you. Wootak likes devious looking women but if she not attractive it's a no go. There is this thing called the Halo effect and highly attractive people have life on the easy mode. They can get away with more stuff even with the bad reputation minus the STD part of it. When it comes to people who are 1 or 2 out of 10 gets ostracized and gets labeled as criminals despite their clean record, they get treated like garbage. And people who don't get to know them in person only speak negative about the ugly people. Brando isn't the most sociable guy but because of his looks and above average package he is labeled as tall, dark and mysterious. When a woman talks about her female friends the men want to know if she is a baddy and if men talks about their guy friend the women wants to know if he is hot. Even tinder and other dating apps, majority of the users don't really dive into others personality that is why they swipe right for people they deem attractive within a second and swipe left if they are unattractive. Even on Omegle people show disgusted faces towards ugly people during the first quick encounter without even getting to know the ugly guys and girls. Even Amber Heard still has guys that want to date her. To sum it all up the hot guys gets labeled as bad boys, look at Jeremy Meeks and hot girls with a bad reputation gets labeled as femme fatale. All in all attractive people are deemed to have more value in society and has been for thousands of years.

Im sure, like u said, she knows looks matter but she would rather be ugly and a good person than good looking and a bad person she said that, and said she doesn’t want to hurt ppl or be known for stds😭. Life may be like what you laid out but the point of the question is that you'd be ugly but have the good reputation- so ppl like you, want to be around you, think you're actually good, and so you'd be more likely to succeed than in our current reality. Esther can acknowledge her pretty privilege, use it, and also in her heart care more about other people/ their perception of her even than about just her looks
