I commented about the mattress but I’m not expecting Auri to buy a new mattress for them. I don’t know their financial situation but they could possibly find one somewhere that’s clean, at least, or someone else could buy them one. At the very least, a mattress cover that goes all the way around & under the mattress needs to be put on it so they aren’t breathing in whatever is on that one. But I definitely don’t expect Auri to replace the mattresses. She’s done far more than enough by cleaning their homes so thoroughly.
As an orphan myself, thank you for this. Losing a parent can make you so depressed that cleaning is the last thing on your mind. What you did for this person is incredible and life changing.

It's so ridiculous when someone that isn't doing your job tells you how to do it. Auri is a CLEANER (the world's best) and she's there to help people who cannot take care of their home and gives them a new fresh start. She is there by her will and pure warmth heart and not forced to buy new things to everyone. Gotta disagree with you on that one -- insects lay eggs and create a neverending cycle of infestation in soft goods. Happens with motels all the time. Mattresses in these conditions must be thrown out to end the cycle.
I think the mattress was beyond saving. It's probably infested with bugs and mold. Thankfully a memory foam mattress from Amazon is only $130 and memory foam is bug resistant. I hope the homeowner buys one.

You should wrap the outside of your shoes in tape (double sided or regular tape with the sticky side on the outside) this would keep them from crawling up your shoes and getting on you.

We tragically lost our aunt who became braindead last week while attending her special needs sons hockey game she collapsed in the stands... leaving that son, and another younger girl behind. You never know what people are going through, sometimes I think HOW COULD YOU EVER LET IT GET THIS BAD, but I know.. come on, in our hearts we all know the events that make people live in filth (death, disability, mental illness, etc...)

Puppy pads Auri, training or puppy pads are really useful when liquid has spilled or you want to soak up a floor like you're doing, they're great and can be thrown away without getting wet as there's a barrier.
When my mother died and I lefted alone in our house, I cannot figured out how to manage a houshold. I fell into depression and my house turned to horrible place. After seven years later my boyfriend came into my house to visit me, becouse i was sick. When he saw my house, he just smiled at me and said "Ok, I help you." He cleaned my house, and moved to me. Now our old house turned to a beautiful place.

Every time someone puts weight on it it will release germs and bacteria. He needs a new mattress for his health and preferably throw a waterproof mattress cover on top too

No more roaches after that second one. Growing up in a house like that sucks ass roaches are in everything.

I know that HotShot bug spray is a bit cheaper and has a less harsher smell, but for these types of houses she is going to need Raid brand spray!
That will just make a dent. She needs a gallon of Home Defense and/or a pest control company.
It needs completely tented and fumigated. All soft furnishings need to go. Nothing else will work.
