I remember my dad lifting me up onto the Big Boy statue so I could climb on it when I was little which would be early 70s, we would go there about once a month or so.
My first job was at a Bob's Big Boy Jr. in 1986. I remember those special lettuce head slicers that made square wedges. Also, we made Pappy Parker's fried chicken--freshly prepped and specially fried on site. There was nothing like it.
I remember going to them a lot as a kid, but can't remember where. Had a lot of family in Bellflower - so somewhere around there and the Corona area of course.
It was open for several years. It closed down because of Covid. The people that run the Norco, BOBS, and run that one. They told me that they want to reopen it but they have a hard time finding a good cook and people wanting to work there before Covid. It was very very busy, I miss going there. I have to go to Norco now hoping someday it will reopen.
It's sad to see Bob's fading away in California. I will always love Bob's Big Boy.
I miss Bob's Big Boy. I loved their chili spaghetti and double decker cheese burgers as well as their free comic/activity books.

While living in California during the 70s ,they were the place to go for good and cheap food
