Yeah I know, this video doesn't have the shitty animation from part 1. Here's why: THAT SHIT TAKES FOREVER! The reason I did it on "Why I Hated Japanese School" was cause the computer I usually edit on was being repaired at my friends house. Also didn't feel like filming myself due to the awkward lighting in my room. I'd be down to add the cheap animation in my videos again, but it won't be as often because it's time consuming and I NOW like talking in front of the camera.
Gooeyreaper Plays I live in new jersey so yeah. It still sucks. Been filled with rich kids crashing cars and breaking shit and acting thug. And you welcome bro.
Teachers have no respect at all. It is a thankless, average paying, high stress job. They are in the center of the nightmare triangle of administration, students, and parents. Teachers can develop severe mental problems and the turnover is very high. I have known teachers to quit and go into the military and claim that it is more relaxing.
After like 8th grade we need to learn life skills. Like laundry and shit. People always say the parents should tech them. But not everyone has good/smart parents
I Agree, As someone that had an extremely neglectful mother I was hoping that the cooking class (that I couldn't take until senior year) would show you the basics but no. Instead they tried to teach us fancy words and do homework on said words, We hardly did any cooking and the cooking we did was mostly sweets. :/
Hamilton.Is.Life Laundry isn't that difficult lol but yeah I agree. Would have loved to learn about taxes and loans and real estate in high school, just financial literacy stuff. I wasn't taught any of that until my second year of college -_-.
I think managing your taxes and payments and stuff like being in a jury and voting (basically everything expected of you as a legal adult). should be taught in some way. If not in school than in some other government funded institution.
I was once pushed off of my scooter as a kid. I just shrugged it off because I was a badass. But I also had a short attention span, so I immediately forgot that someone had pushed me off. And about me falling...
OMG the ppl who walk so slow and they stop to talk to their friends or smth are so irritating. Ahh plus the schedules, there's barely enough time to get anywhere, and if you need to use the br here you'll need to go to class and wait for ten minutes to go, and you can't go in the last ten minutes, either :/ Then the Teacher's all like 'why didn't you go during transitional period', and it's like I'd be late if I did/punished! (Plus you can't go while another student is out even though everyone has their own pass what even)...School sucks tbh
AH, I HATE THAT! I had five minutes to get to a class and I agree when teachers get pissed that you're not sitting through their whole class just because you want to use to damn bathroom. However, there was this one kid who spend the whole class period in the bathroom, so that was actually hilarious because all of the kids would make fun of the bathroom breaks. He just hated the class, so I can't blame him.
👍🏽 since you talked about your take on both schools, American and Japanese, you should do a reverse video. Let Japanese kids learn things about school here in the states. Here, we're constantly told how good schools are in other countries and that we have to strive to be more like them. After watching your videos and reading some of the comment, it sounds like it sucks all over. Everyone thinks that they have it the worst where they are, and what's really sad is that I graduated decades ago and little seems to have changed.
I gotta say, school in my country isn't half bad. School Is free from 1st grade to 9th grade and so is college, apart from having to buy your own textbooks. School hours are 6h on average in high school(with about one hour of recess). And we actually learn stuff! The teachers have alot of autonomy and generally help students. Icing on the cake is that we don't have any standardized testing! (Exept for one, at the end of ninth grade)
As far as I'm concerned school enjoyment is really dependant on how good the teachers are since most school systems outside of nordic countries seem to be stuck 100 years in the past. I've had a teachers really bringing life into their classes and motivating students to work hard and I've had teachers making me dislike sports class. One thing I would say is that I don't think adding a ton of rules and restrictions is good, it just turns students into dumb robots who can't do shit on their own accord and will be lost when they're out of the school system.
I think the biggest problem is just because everything is underfunded and they don't care to improve the system, honestly one of the worst and doesn't get better in the universities... With the amount you have to pay you might as well move to a new country with that money
I literally had to go to the school the next day after my graduation to receive my diploma because for some odd fucking reason it was not at the gradiation. The principal had to hand me a empty diploma book. I feel your pain at the end.
dajam9035 we were handed an empty diploma book at the ceremony then we had to line up in the incredibly small Fieldhouse to get our diploma and report card.
Yeah...What's up with schools not teaching actual job or life skills? How do pay bills, how to make a resume, how not to bomb an interview, how to file taxes.....
they should do that instead of other stuff... i really don’t think we need to learn general music instead we could learn business, jobs, resumes, all that stuff
And the school just teach me how to calculate speed of a rock falling from the roof. Can i have a break this isn't even my passion i rather stay focus on math and art for architecture at least let us choose the subject in high school what a waste of time for learning something that I'll never use in the future
Actually a lot of schools are progressively adding these types of classes. My high school has been adding them for the past few years. And for fall after I graduate, computer science is a requirement for the class that is just starting.
Damn US schools are fucked. I thought they'd be a lot like English schools but you had school security guards? Is that normal there? I know they have rediculously long summer holidays... Leke, extremely excessive. I hate how they're trying to make prom a thing in my country because nobody gives a shit about that. Graduation ceremonies are just weird to me, in the UK you just go into school partway through the summir holidays to pick up your results and once you've got those you can just leave and never come back or hand around for a bit.
Yea they are pretty normal my school has 3 of the them 4 at the beginning and the end of school and at lunch. My school is not that bad so we don't really need that much lol
My high school days was the worst of days and I was so happy to graduate from high school because my high school is terrible surrounded by idiots everyday and I am proud for what I did my part in school and I'm making a difference in my life all those idiots in my old high school will never be remembered because they're below me forever
For me as a Japanese, the American school you mentioned is better. I especially envy the part that you have your own schedule. Japanese students have to stay in the same space with the same people for 7 hours a day.
I don't know, but it the worst of our schools like the ones I went to people would get killed over petty shit like necklaces and skateboards or die from drug overdose. Kids who got kicked out of school for whatever reason would still sneak back into them just to hang out with their friends and there was so much drug dealing and gang drama going on. You might find a better experience in American schools but bad schools are detrimental to society especially because so many people drop out of them. We have police and security guards because of police and school shootings.
I went to an Englush school and for the most part it was fine. It was a pretty bad school which meant the rules were really lenient so I could effectively go in non uniform and be fine. However I had to deal with all the chavs and "hard men" who all think it's acceptable to lowkey attack the teachers. I did feel sorry for some of the teachers; most of them were decent teachers as I went when the school was in its "reform" period after being named the worst school in the UK.
I moved from the US to Scotland when I was around 10 and my grammar school (jr high and high school put together) was crappy. A good number of floor tiles and ceiling tiles were missing, garbage laying around in the hallways and social areas, the bathrooms stunk, the text books were old (like somewhere from the 70s, 80s or early 90s old) and had to photocopy them (in which the quality was shit) for the class and a number of desks and chairs were half broken. There was a music teacher that I had was okay, but when he helped you with the electric keyboard, his breath stunk of whiskey and I remembered he had one of those cardboard tubes that held booze bottles in the storage cupboard that was in the classroom. Last I heard, he was caught drinking during school and was fired.
When I’m in the hallways during my sophomore years, there was those people that stop in the middle in the hallways to talk to their friends. AND MOST OF THEM BLOCK THE WHOLE HALLWAY!! I was full of rage that I didn’t even wanna say excuse me. Some other people just literally KISS in the hallway. Can’t they just hold it until the end of the day when the jock sneaks into the cheerleader’s room and smashes her anyway? Why do they have to shove it down our throats that they are together.
Monika Fraser I was asked if I was lesbian twice because I showed zero interest in dating people in middle / high school. Asexual was the word they were prolly looking for, but no, I’m straight. I just didn’t wanna date immature fucks who just date because it’s trendy. Admittedly, there were about two or so couples I knew that were actually great bfs / gfs, but that’s about it. Also, I just felt insecure about my looks, lack of experience et cetera and hated the whole crush phase, since it would consume my thoughts like no other. So, as if I was just going to date anyone that happened to like me, just because everyone else was doing it. They’re just kids, they think they know what they want from themselves and others, but they really don’t.
The diploma bit reminded me - They lost my diploma during graduation. I had to walk across the stage and not be handed anything in front of everyone, and then wait like an hour afterwards for them to find it and give it to me.
Holy shit. When I graduated, they forgot to put my name too. They had a list of names and after I told them my name, they wrote it at the bottom of that list in pencil. Because I was the last on the list, they wanted me to give a bouquet of flowers to the principal. (Probably cause they thought it’d be cute or something.) The principal was a woman by the way, but it was still awkward.
I think this should be retitled Why I hate my "American high school" Sounds like he went to a bad school in the inner city. Poorly funded, students didn't care, teachers didn't care. There are many schools that are not like this I can't really say my high school experience was anything like his.
I am in high school right now, not in the United States, but in Norway. I have got to say that this video is really relatable. All these students trying to fit in and act cool, even though it is pretty obvious that they are just hiding their insecurity.
here's some tips for newcomers who will be starting high school soon. 1.Ignore the so called "student hierarchy". Just flat out ignore it. 2. Put bullies in there place. They are in high school now it's time they grew up. 3. Don't be someone you're not just to please others. you're only hurting your self. 4. Its just school. The "drama" that goes on is irrelevant. Focus on your work. 5. Nerd out. Don't let people bully you because you like fantasy or video games or anime who cares if you don't fit into there "social structure ". Jocks are just sports nerds and most cheerleaders are ******. 6. Footbal games. Waste of money don't bother. Parties. ( everyone does it but this is about high school) kids in high school will throw parties at their house or someone else's. Don't go if you don't know them or just don't go at all. 7. Dating. No it's not worth it. I never dated and i sure as hell don't regret it. Drugs. A horrible way for a teen to die. 8. Prom. Don't go its a waste of good money I didn't go and to this day I still don't regret it. 9. Pictures. if you hate having your picture taken then don't show up to school on picture day or hide your face. ( something I did back in high school, you don't have to follow this one if you don't want too) 10. Monkey suits (formal wear). During your last year of high school you'll have to take a class photo in formal wear. if you don't like formal wear then get payback by covering your face. After graduation leave the area and return your cap and gown. I got in trouble for covering my face during the class photo. The teacher yelled at me for it and all I did was give him a smart ass smile. it pissed him off more but he couldn't do shit about it. I did not want to attend high school graduation ( middle school didn't care and they let me pick it up at the office) but I had too so after it was all over I went inside and returned my cap and gown. I don't regret it. (This is a bad example but I actually did those. You do not have to follow this example.) High school goes by in a hurry. Don't do something that you'll regret.
5:53 literally me. I didn't really have a "group" I just kind of fit into different groups. I was in band so I hung out with the band kids but I also hung out with some of the anime kids, emo kids, and basic kids. There were some weird kids I got along and even this really fake girl NO ONE liked who lied all the time. It's weird because I have most of their contact info yet I haven't talked to most if them since high school ended. I guess a lot of them were just high school friends and friends from "this class" who I only talk to in class
I'm Canadian and I hated my school. For example, we had to learn French. However, we were STILL going over the same things we learned in grade 8 that we learned in grade 1.
Im currently in high school right now, and while I'm sure that public schools give people the right to individuality; I go to a charter school where they rule with an iron fist. The school I go to forces you to buy a laptop from them if you want to go there. (because its a technology heavy school) Lets say you pay off the laptop that you bought from the well you don't own it because they hold on the the last dollar of the laptop meaning they still own it, and prohibit you from paying the dollar you owe. On top of that it collects interest making your debut with them even more, so you can't pay it off until you leave the school. Also if your really poor like some of my friends then you can qualify for a program where they lend you a computer you just have to sign it in and out; the down side to that is that you are not allowed to take it home, and seeing that 98% percent of our home work is online most of my friends have to stay after school to do there home work and you the schools free wifi. Another reason why the school sucks is because of there dress code, now normally I would be fine with some kind of dress code, as long as it was reasonable, but instead you have to wear a uniform, and again I think that a uniform is reasonable but they are way to strict on it. Part of the dress code is that you must wear black shoes with black or white socks, the socks must be 100% black or 100% white also the shoes can only 100% black if they have a millimeter of any other color that is not black you get in trouble. I remember one time I came to school with black socks on that a small white nike symbol I was immediately caught by one of my teachers and told to wait until a security guard would pick me up and escort me to the dean's office like I'm some sort of threat. From the dean's office I would have to call my mother and ask her to bring me the right pair of socks, and they would not let you go back to class until you have the right pair of socks on; quick side not my mother works 45 minutes away and docent get off until five so in that office missing all my classes and lunch until school ended because I'm not allowed to go back to class until I get my socks.
At one point a kid threatened me for my backpack. I remember what I said to him “Take your best shot because I will put you down.” The kid reached into his pocket for nothing and I almost broke his jaw in response. Moral of the story don’t mess with the kid whom used to box.
Why I hate American schools? Here’s a reason: One time I got jumped by group of people just for being that socially awkward person and guess what? They got off Scott free. They didn’t get suspended or anything. Another reason, I got sexually assaulted by a high school senior when I was only a freshman. And guess what? He was legally an adult, and I was only a minor at that time, and the school didn’t do jack shit about it. They didn’t expel him or anything. I was so pissed. >.>
You don't get along with people but at least you can express yourself so easily in this video. I can't even get myself to speak to somebody or say a few sentences, I'll just smile and grin.
I feel truly sorry for any genuine, real and decent human beings today that are being forced to endure yank high school with the absolute abominations of today.
I never cared in hs and I'm glad. I have been going to college now and boy is it so much better. Education is better, don't get pressured to do anything I don't want and I got my freedom
Im from germany and the american school system is just horrible. We have the same classes every day and I'm still learning less and have more homework than in 90min per week in my old school. I was really surprised that English 2 in the 10th is easier than 9th grade English aducation in Germany. The schools starts at 8:30 and ends at 3.45. In those 8 school hours I have 25 min lunch... It feels like a fucking prison. In comparison school in Ger. started at 7:45 and ended at 3.45 and I had a 5, 20, 10, and 75min break. Wtf america, wtf...
The experience you have in different schools can vary widely and generalizing the whole American school system based your experience at one school is ridiculous. Some schools are terrible and some are excellent.
No you're right the american school system is shitty My state changed what state test we had to take at the last second from the ACT to the SAT, so we had a few months to prepare for a whole different test even though we had studied for the ACT almost our whole life.
Watching this made me really think about how different High schools are in America. Listening to you, my cousins, my sister, friends across the country, my parents, etc. For me, going to school was a total pain in the ass. I can attribute most of my issues to me not putting in any effort, but still, walking away, I felt no sense of nostalgia or anything like that. I liked maybe 1.5 of my teachers, and the rest can kiss my ass. If any of you guys are still in high school, though, let me tell you this: Take advantage of the free school now, and do your best. It'll pay off in the long run, trust me. I didn't do much, and while I don't really regret it, I'm aware that things would be a lot easier for me now. Also, don't trust your guidance counselors. They don't give a shit about you.
My high school growing up had five different buildings and one of them was randomly no where near the other four main buildings 😑 You we’re always late and if it rained you were soaked!
School forgot name in graduation feelsbadman. My school forgot to make a congratulations banner for me since I was accepted into a top University in my country. While the others got one. This is why I never mentioned that school when I'm asked where I studied highschool.
Long story time! My senior year of high school was the best and oddest time. My family had moved to New Orleans due to some guy my mom was dating but my older brother had decided to remain behind at our old town instead. This made me the oldest of the siblings so now it was me and my younger brother. I became fiercely protective of him, going mother hawk mode, lol. The school was rough as shit and I knew if something happened, it was just me and him. Unfortunately, this fucktard doomed himself with getting in with the wrong people but whatever. He has a GED at least which is more than half those kids probably ended up with. Honestly, out of 300 kids in my senior class, maybe 50 passed. And they can't even use Katrina and Rita as an excuse because their unwillingness to sit and learn told everything. Anyways... even with me being mediocre in school (though constantly struggling with math and even having to repeat math that year), I was still valedictorian. I still have the gold medal for it but I have a love/hate relationship with it. I feel I don't deserve it and I'm not a true valedictorian. But the best part of the year was just how I stopped giving a fuck about what others thought of me. I'd attended maybe fifteen schools up to that point across three different states. I'm always the new kid and I never fit in. I'm never enough of what they want. The black girl who talks too proper, a geek for liking to read, openly loving Harry Potter and secretly finding Toonami the best damn thing to ever happen to America. My clothes weren't right, my hair wasn't right, my shyness wasn't right. I realized I am NEVER going to fucking please these people. So...why worry about it? It was rather hilarious when inevitably they tried to come for me and they saw I honestly just didn't care. No, not the "I'm going to get loud and cuss them out to hide that I truly do care" but the "blink back at them like they're idiots who stress about trivial shit" kind of I don't care. Once they realized I seriously had negative zero fucks to give, they just ignored me, which worked as it allowed me to return back to my Harry Potter. I've maintained that "IDGAF" mindset ever since. I'll change things about me when I want to (and have the money for it) but I'll be damned if I let you bully me around to try to make me conform to what YOU want of me. Sounds like I'm just YOUR problem if that's the case because I love being me :)
i can relate to you so much i am also black and i am always the new kid in schools and i also like reading harry potter manga gone they would say i am weird af but i don’t care a shit what they think about me and i recommend reading gone the auteur is michael grant his books are great af
Damn bruh I feel bad for your shitty high school experience. I feel you w the “semi-cool kid” but then I just started hanging out w a certain group then knew everyone within my city. But foreal your highschool must have been really shitty to be having metal detectors. Like damn I live in Las Vegas and our education system is shit but we didn’t have that. But great video!
Seeing this is so weird for me as I go to a good (public) school in Wisconsin even though it isn't perfect he a ring your struggles makes me appriciate it more thanks
Damn, sounds like you went through a lot in school during your childhood, and I thought they taught kids in Japan to be respectful and responsible with everyone, sorry you went through that bro, school is over, good riddance
On my graduation it rained and my car got stuck in a flood then stalled on the way home. My diploma is soaked and my permanent record is soaked as well. I had to run around down town barefoot in the rain too
my school years 1st grade: i stole a book 2nd grade: i was bitting on pen caps 3rd grade: dont remember 4th grade: one teach was a Waffen SS, One teach was an angel 5th grade: Disney adicted teacher 6th grade: old ass teach but a good friend of my mom (my mom worked at the same primary school i went to) 7th grade: exact same as 6th grade but with a large ammount of teachers 8th grade (1): shit 8th grade (2): Best classmates i ever had 9th grade: ongoing, currently cutting on sleep to spend time on phone and study
For those still in high school hang in there. My first years in high school sucked. From 2007-2011 it always did. I’m glad to be out and never enjoyed it. I went to a high school that was 70% Asian, so I never was picked on. I wasn’t socially awkward, but I didn’t like to talk a lot because I didn’t fit in with anyone, and I figured my first year out quickly that everyone was conforming. First day of 9th grade, my homeroom teacher told my whole class that the whole school is not allowed to go to the bathroom until a hall monitor escorted you to the bathroom due to students in previous years skipping school or class. The bathrooms were always locked unless a hall monitor was present and unlocked it for you because students in the past always smoked weed and cigarettes in there (usually the boys bathroom); and bathrooms were always unlocked during passing time to get to your next class and during lunch and the end of the school day after 3. So if you had to take a piss or shit, you only had five minutes. The school only provided 2 hall monitors out of thousands of kids in a school, and the fucking hall monitors were always pissed and crabby as fuck. I was always respectful, but they would be disrespectful rude fucks. Not my fault they took the shittiest job or if their spouse left them. By the time of last year of high school they fired the hall monitors. During October in 9th grade one of my classmates literally took a shit in the class on purpose because of this stupid rule and by the time the hall monitor got to my class, he told her “Oh you’re too late, I already went in class”. There were always fights during lunch or at least one fight a day. The fucking lunch lines were always long for food that were shitty, and by the time you got your food you only had five minutes left to eat, so you were always late when that shit happens. Some of the Asian girls would orgasm over exchange students which is not a huge deal because they’re there to learn and not satisfy their orgasms and eyes. My favorite subject in school was history, but the teachers never taught anything interesting in there. I took half AP classes and half regular classes because some shit would be too advance while the other was too easy. I was an average student. I wasn’t huge into sports or clubs, but gave it a try and wasn’t for me. Seemed like every group had a rank or leader with followers, yes even sports and clubs had that shit so I didn’t want no part of that. And yes I was “semi-cool”. I never cared what anyone thought was cool.
Never been to a school with more than one floor. All of my schools were like a mall attached to a convention center. Forever walking, forever getting lost.
I didn't learn a damn thing in any school I went to. College, in my opinion, is the best option to actually get a proper education. I don't regret having my head stuck in the computer for all of my 19 years because I knew none of those kids would never see me again, so why should I bother making friendships? They only cared about their stupid Snapchat and taking a million selfies.
I had the exact same experience with that type of kid. He kept bringing up personal stuff about me in order for me to let him cheat. I told him that he kept bothering me because he was insecure. He kept saying “I’m smarter than you” over and over. I yelled at him to shut up and I wished that the actual teacher was there because I’m one of her favorite students, and she understands me. Luckily I was going home early that day, so I was fine. A few weeks later, I told one of the psychologists about it and they told me that if he keeps bothering me, something will be done about it.
Worst decision my area makes is getting rid of recess. It ends at 5th grade and then it just disappears. I just used that time to bathe in the sun but it was still better than 7 pointless classes and 40 minutes of food that is not as healthy as it is advertized to be. Now i cant bathe in the sun at school. Mega oof.
Holy shit dude im in highschool right now and it's good to see someone to relate to, in the way that I'm kinda friends with everyone but i don't really hang out with any groups, or attempt to hang out with them because i don't really like them.
Ive been graduated for going on 2 years now and work as a groundskeeper at a casino so i see all kinds of people coming in and leaving and not too long ago i saw one of the jock guys i went to school with wearing his letterman jacket and i genuinely felt bad for him because he had apparently done nothing noteworthy enough to quit wearing that. I know its only been 2 years but COME ON man
What I hated most about my school was that the school was huge and then the seniors would just walked SO SLOW and they basically built a human wall you can’t get past :|
My highschool was chill, felt like most of everyone stuck together, the outcasts were the somewhat gangs. If someone had a problem they say it in their face, no gossip/talking behind backs. If two people are going to fight it out, its usually away from peoples eyes. And if someone was getting bullied some of the relatives of that person steps in and tells him/her to Fuck off, I was mostly related to everyone in my school so i got along with everyone. To say the least it almost felt like a second home.
I have been to Okinawa and the Mainland and could definetly see the education differences there. As well as even being in a rural school in the middle of Arizona, that there is still a wierd sense of prioritizing the wrong crap in school.
So I live in Idaho (yeah ik its wack) but the high school I go to isnt COMPLETE ass, as far as teaching and classes go. The majority of my teachers throughout high school (im a junior) have really cared about me learning the things that I was taught and there are classes that teach you things like expenses and business, but the people, man do they suck. Most of them are mormons so if youre not a mormon, which im not, youre already in the minority. 99% of the kids aren't accepting of others, especially me as I moved when I was in 8th grade. There are just a shit ton of groups, not even cliques, that hangout with each other and no one else can be in the friend group, and they are so judgemental. I eventually sat outside for lunch about 100 feet away from the school because I always got called names like ugly, faggot (for wearing a hoodie and sweatpants ig? im straight so idk) and a group came up to me and said that I give them "school shooter vibes" which actually hurt because I was wearing a flannel that I got from my uncle after he passed. It isnt a private school but everyone is like middle upper class ig so they dont understand what its like to not have much and they dont accept other who didnt have much, like me, my family was poor until my mom got a new job which is why I moved. All in all, it isnt so bad, im just trying to avoid people and move on with my life.
My 4 years of highschool was a pain in the ass for me half of the students in my grade betrayed me to fit in with others ( even though they been friends since 2nd and 3rd grade) and i started not to like any of the popular kids. also those kids claimed there smart but at the end the day there not and i hated all the homecomings and prom. i felt like i didn't belong in that school at all i just wanted to go when i graduated in May of 2018 i was extremely happy because i did not wanted to see those kids anymore.
This probably isn’t most circumstances, but I live in Indianapolis IN USA and from my middle school people either went to the local public school or the local private school, and everyone that went to the private school hates it and wants to go to the public school, while everyone that went to the public school is laughing at people who were bragging about going to a private school in 8th grade. My school (which is the public one) sucks but is pretty good for a public school from what I’ve heard, we’re are also an A rated school (which is rare for a public school) and have a lot more CCP classes and AP classes, as well as qualified teachers, as you have to have a masters degree to teach the advanced classes. But I’m also in the top 2% in my class so it’s not as great for people in regular classes. But a bad thing is that the people on the school board don’t give a shit about you, but I think that’s true for pretty much all schools.
Yeah, I haven't seen anyone I met in secondary school since graduating beside one person, and that person I barely saw either (although I wish I tried to hang out with her more before she went abroad). Even after 5 years at that school, I never made a strong friendship with someone who I didn't already know from primary school. Part of that was bad luck with friends leaving the school or changing classes, but still. It's kind-of sad, because with social media and whatnot, you'd think it would be really easy to keep in touch and continue hanging out with people from school. But nope, at least not for me. Because of that, I was quite jealous when I went to a 19th birthday party of someone who I knew from an old friend, and of the 50-odd people there, ~90% of them were from her secondary school. It blew my mind that more than a year out of school, these people still had strong connections and went to a birthday party together. It took me a long time to mingle amongst them.
Subbed to your channel today, I don't know what It is about you, but you seem like a really cool, chill, and down to earth dude. You don't bullshit, everything you say is real. Also blasians rock.
I remember when our highschool first got security guards, all because some bitch ass student kept making fake bomb threats. Then that Columbine thing happened. After half a year, they got rid of the security guards for good.
I went to a large school with multiple buildings all 2/3 stories. In 11th grade, my school TRIED THE FUCK out of my life. my 1st class was 2floor main building my 2nd period 3rd floor IN THE LAST BUILDING WAY IN THE BACK! I was on sum Christopher Columbus shit. I was on a voyage everyday. I got HELLA detentions that yr for being late. My teachers had the AUDACITY to ask y I was always late. Like really bitch? REALLY !! lol looking back, good times though. =)
Yeah I know, this video doesn't have the shitty animation from part 1. Here's why:
THAT SHIT TAKES FOREVER!
KazuoTV new jersey. ....sucks
Gooeyreaper Plays I live in new jersey so yeah. It still sucks. Been filled with rich kids crashing cars and breaking shit and acting thug. And you welcome bro.
Ezra scarlet
I agree it sucks here
Teachers have no respect at all. It is a thankless, average paying, high stress job. They are in the center of the nightmare triangle of administration, students, and parents. Teachers can develop severe mental problems and the turnover is very high. I have known teachers to quit and go into the military and claim that it is more relaxing.
What American Schools have taught me, 1) kids are f****ing d***s, and 2) teachers don't teach s***t.
Don't worry guys when you get out high-school, it'll get worse. No more school drama but real life drama.
Pietree yaaaayy
Sounds fun.
Pietree Depends on where you are, my conditions would improve if you were in my scenario
Drive Boy jesus I knew all that already but it was still depressing as fuck
Pietree Thanks for making my hope for adulthood rise a bit (don't ask about my expectations of adult hood, I know it sucks nuts)
After like 8th grade we need to learn life skills. Like laundry and shit. People always say the parents should tech them. But not everyone has good/smart parents
Yeah, waste one class just learning shit you should already know.
Well at my school we have a life skills class and a carrer descions class, and many more classes. (I'm in middle school)
Dude your shadow kinda looks like a wolf looking at the moon and being about ready to howl but it isn't going to howl.
Random Gamer To me, it looks like a wolf or bear sniffing his head...
XD it does
You've got a really entertaining personality 👌 I'd love to see more vids from you
i literally just watched the japanese school one. and was like "Whats this guy doing" and an hour ago you upload this. cool.
Karlee Gilson same lol
same
me too. I guess he just hate school.
Same
"What's this guy doing"? He was simply elaborating on why he hates Japanese school.... you stupid or just ignorant?
"I woulda whopped my own ass if i had an opportunity like that" im done 😂😂😂
Ikr, if i had a chance to punch middle-schooler me in the face i would totally go for it.
At my school, the white girls form a slow ass wall and I cant get to class on time because if it
I was once pushed off of my scooter as a kid. I just shrugged it off because I was a badass. But I also had a short attention span, so I immediately forgot that someone had pushed me off. And about me falling...
Xa That’s not having a short attention span, that’s having short term memory loss.
Xa I think you may have fallen a little to hard..
No use crying when there's so little time in the day to play! How I miss playing outside...
Wait then how did you remember?
Yo I didn’t know being a “semi-cool kid” until I heard you say it. I thought that was just me hahaha
Great video dude. You a natural
A natural?
Steamy Ramen ikr
Wesley Lindsey I feels like in your first sentence you started a thought and ended in a new universe........
hah lol same
👍🏽 since you talked about your take on both schools, American and Japanese, you should do a reverse video.
Dearyvette TN school sucks in general no matter which country it's in .
ValidNote Sheesh where do you live, I think I need to move 👀👀
MulTiLAy3rd Finland.
Our school system is kinda praised internationally.
Senior year and I moved to Alaska, I want to get eaten by a bear
Aw man, that must be rough.
Hope you like the cold lol
Polar bear 🧐😏😏
I think the biggest problem is just because everything is underfunded and they don't care to improve the system, honestly one of the worst and doesn't get better in the universities... With the amount you have to pay you might as well move to a new country with that money
This was hilarious but really depressing too.
I didnt even fucking graduate
@@yadirafrayre6216 That's a fat L
@@SluggedNugg I still got my diploma though😂
My little sister was born on the day of that earthquake and we sometimes call her the disaster baby
Miss Jackson that’s pretty funny
BRO THAT'S pretty halarious 😂😂
Miss Jackson that's awful
It could be considered funny but it also MIGHT be psychologically damaging.
I got taught how to do an interview, but I wanted to learn how to pay bills because that makes me anxious as hell.
Actually a lot of schools are progressively adding these types of classes. My high school has been adding them for the past few years. And for fall after I graduate, computer science is a requirement for the class that is just starting.
U should add a shitty animation for this too, easier to focus on what ur saying that way
Ian van den Berg you mean editing like his other video?
Ian van den Berg fr that shit had me sleep
But then again he does have a cute face in this video.
I wonder how the "bad kids" in Japan would handle American high school
Considering they're not in their element, they'd become easy targets
Damn US schools are fucked. I thought they'd be a lot like English schools but you had school security guards? Is that normal there? I know they have rediculously long summer holidays... Leke, extremely excessive. I hate how they're trying to make prom a thing in my country because nobody gives a shit about that. Graduation ceremonies are just weird to me, in the UK you just go into school partway through the summir holidays to pick up your results and once you've got those you can just leave and never come back or hand around for a bit.
Celeren Security guards typically don't have much of a presence unless you live in a ghetto city area.
I live in Florida and the security guards are pretty common
It’s because a student could pop out a gun at anytime
Yea they are pretty normal my school has 3 of the them 4 at the beginning and the end of school and at lunch. My school is not that bad so we don't really need that much lol
As soon i said his first school was in Jersey I yelled “YERRRR”
Your shadow looks like a bear
A bear is holding him hostage and forcing him to create videos
I relate to him so much👏👏👏👏
ugandria womack true i hate school =_= and im in 7th grade 🖕
High school was a brain fart of my life. Well... my life itself has been a bunch of brain farts so far, haha!
We had a guy pull a taser out in the middle of the cafeteria. Crazy shit.
Never let go of your peeper 4:20
XD my god this killed me lmfao
420 hehe
When I’m in the hallways during my sophomore years, there was those people that stop in the middle in the hallways to talk to their friends. AND MOST OF THEM BLOCK THE WHOLE HALLWAY!! I was full of rage that I didn’t even wanna say excuse me. Some other people just literally KISS in the hallway. Can’t they just hold it until the end of the day when the jock sneaks into the cheerleader’s room and smashes her anyway? Why do they have to shove it down our throats that they are together.
Mr Leg at least Ikr I cant stand it.
Why I hate America school!
1.To Much Test
2.To Much America History
3.To Much Writing
4.The Food is not good
Dreamboy yeah I agree fuck history about where I live (sarcasm)
To much awful food
You'd probably hate most school systems if you think America has too much writing lol
History is easy
Especially the food .
I just watched the Japanese one and I then I saw this, I'm definitely one of your fans now great job, keep it up !
When you said my name, I was spooked the fuck out for a sec. Much love even tho you said fuck me lol
DUDE THIS GUY DESCRIBES HOW I FEEL ABOUT HIGHSCHOOL DATING
"I haaaaaaaaaate slow walkers"
That right there is how you know you've earned your NYer card lol. Hmm. MetroCard? Meh
2. Put bullies in there
place.
( something I did back in high school, you don't have to follow this one if you don't want too)
10. You do not have to follow this example.)
High school goes by in a hurry. Don't do something that you'll regret.
#uglylivesmatter yeap
Dog I love your videos! Instant sub fam
You’re adorable lmao
4:46
We’ve all been in that situation!
There’s a kid who acts tough and threatens you but you can see through their bullshit!
That’s always funny!
Sneff its their "freedom" they keep preaching about....
The American school system is shit....
The experience you have in different schools can vary widely and generalizing the whole American school system based your experience at one school is ridiculous. Some schools are terrible and some are excellent.
No you're right the american school system is shitty
My state changed what state test we had to take at the last second from the ACT to the SAT, so we had a few months to prepare for a whole different test even though we had studied for the ACT almost our whole life.
I'm also from Germany and it's almost the same in Canada, it's so easy haha
In romania we start school at 08:00 and finish at 14:00 and we get a 10 min break every 50 minutes
My high school growing up had five different buildings and one of them was randomly no where near the other four main buildings 😑
You we’re always late and if it rained you were soaked!
Hahah
I was a lone wolf but people liked me for some odd reason
I was just chilled and mellow
Damn bruh I feel bad for your shitty high school experience. I feel you w the “semi-cool kid” but then I just started hanging out w a certain group then knew everyone within my city. But foreal your highschool must have been really shitty to be having metal detectors. Like damn I live in Las Vegas and our education system is shit but we didn’t have that. But great video!
If i wasnt in a cohort program throughout high school separated from the rest of the student population, i wouldve turned out a very different person.
I was that kid in class people had to wait to go to the bathroom for cuz I was skipping lmao
Seeing this is so weird for me as I go to a good (public) school in Wisconsin even though it isn't perfect he a ring your struggles makes me appriciate it more thanks
Damn, sounds like you went through a lot in school during your childhood, and I thought they taught kids in Japan to be respectful and responsible with everyone, sorry you went through that bro, school is over, good riddance
the irony of the graduation tho. painful.
On my graduation it rained and my car got stuck in a flood then stalled on the way home. My diploma is soaked and my permanent record is soaked as well. I had to run around down town barefoot in the rain too
my school years
1st grade: i stole a book
2nd grade: i was bitting on pen caps
3rd grade: dont remember
4th grade: one teach was a Waffen SS, One teach was an angel
5th grade: Disney adicted teacher
6th grade: old ass teach but a good friend of my mom (my mom worked at the same primary school i went to)
7th grade: exact same as 6th grade but with a large ammount of teachers
8th grade (1): shit
8th grade (2): Best classmates i ever had
9th grade: ongoing, currently cutting on sleep to spend time on phone and study
I preferred the pictures in the Japanese school video
I feel bad for people in American high schools. I'm in a Canadian high school at the moment and it's the happiest I've ever been.
JustinTheNoob its lretty vood here in high school now
Some people just go to shit schools. I’ve never had a terrible school experience at all.
Lexi Wilson shiiit...private school can be just as worst than public
Stfu just because his school life sucked doesn’t mean every school does
Take me with you. Please.
Part 3:
Why I hate school
You’re hella funny. I bet you’ll get tons of views later on

The little comments you add through text makes the video so funny!
I remember like 95% of this shit from hs. hated high school
I know its only been 2 years but COME ON man
That edge at the end lmao
He said, “deadass”. I believe he from Queens
"Kid Flash"
Doing multi tasking by going and attending different schools in different continent.
I related. Twice the school forgot about me for a honors award. I had to go to the guidance office to get my award
Next time I have to explain to people why I hate school I am sending them this video. You hit every single point that I have on why I hated school
