He reminds me of a pool boy marrying rich widowed woman for money! 😂😂😂 Then Griff also brought in mateship with Al & they got into a stack of laughs at work. Which was hilarious all the bets they would have & ofcourse the No Ma'am club they made! Fighting against Amazonian woman rule! Hilarious! 😂😂😂
Dosent get any better than this 40 mins of pure laughter from one of the greatest shows ever created. I love the chemistry each cast member has especially the Bundys. Even off screen they've remained close friends.

And the actors would casually waste a little time before delivering their next line to let the audience participate. This show had great performers. Because of that audience they tended to want them to stay hot so they’d try to knock everything out in one take! Very successfully I might add.
They're not rare today. Every sitcom has them. Young Sheldon, The Neighborhood, Abbott Elementary. What's rare now are actual intros instead of just the show's title card.

Season 11 was the season that I was least familiar with when I bought the series on DVD several years back. I think they changed the time slot or broadcasting day or something. I forget. Still, it's all good!! ❤

That era was a good time it was the best, comparing the last 30+ years ! That 80s had many fantastic shows. Seinfeld, Cheers, All in the Family was earlier, Sanford and Son, Family Ties, Saterday Night Live and some more comedy series. It was the best !!!
THIS along with the Simpsons are the two shows that turned Fox's TV fortunes around. They would most certainly not be where they are without Al and Homer.
It was the first and the original working title if you look at some of the reunion videos was " not the Cosbys" and FOX's breakout hit because the writers were left alone to do what they wanted definitely recommend watching the reunion video

One of the shows I really loved was the big blond fat exorsize girl who tried to get al to believe she was a size 4 and couldn't get it to fit. When she said that she must have made em wider cause she arobasized and al said and I see you must have fallen on ur but a couple times and she jumped up saying how dare you say that to my face. Al looks up and loudly telling her. .. well i'd say that behind your back but my cars only got a half a tank of gas. Lmao. 😢😮😅😂

Cold openings are rare today. For "Married...With Children's final season, they were the highlight of it.
Somehow each season had it's own feel to it, while remaining histerically funny andstrong with both jokes and characters.
They appear to have become less common in the last decade or so.
I don't know why they did it this season. I guess the new producers liked it.

All of the above! Fox replaced MWC on Sundays @ 9 with The X-Files in Sep 1996 b/c it had became its biggest ratings hit show.
