looks like Akemi's relationship with her step mother isn't great. They made the grandma lived in such a harsh condition room... so no wonder if she hold a grudge
So, watching this now, this is what I think happened. With Akira-San taking his own life in Jukai, the Grudge ( presumably the grandmother for the way she was treated) was driven to do so. At this point, it is no longer the grandmother. It’s as if an Oni has control now. Then his wife is deceased. So we now have 3 Yurei that the Oni has in possession. Akemi-San, is now in a vulnerable mental state. She thinks she is connecting with her grandmother, but it is the Oni who is making her think that. One day, he will have her too…. Usually, there is a very strong Yurei/Oni that prevents spirits to move on. So even if they wanted to they can’t. I am wondering if a cleansing would even work at this point. In some cases, the stigmatization is so horrific that it is unlivable and has to be demolished. WOW! I didn’t know K had the same impression! Being a sensitive/intuitive medium sometimes I sense things others can’t.

I find this fascinating it is almost like a spacial phase anomaly. as if someone is phased like a second or two ahead of the observer. do you have cameras setup around the house with electromagnetic meters? I would be curious if the pattern could be tracked and what gravity if any it emits.

Seems like Akemi's desire to see her Grandmother is so strong that she is manifesting it.This would explain why she's getting sickly from it, I believe her grandmothers soul might be in the midst of manipulation from a evil entity that resides in the doll. That said, i have a feeling it could either be leading you to figure out more about their disappearance or down a rabbit hole that could ultimately cost Akemi her life from the cursed doll feeding off of the life force of those who come in contact with it. (which would also explain why S abruptly lost his desire to continue ghost hunting.) I would gather up the papers in the cabinets that we're being manipulated such as the ones in Akira's room and the film and anything within the right side of that closet and look at it very closely with Akemi. I hope this last manifestation was the key to solving the mystery surrounding the grandmother and bring peace to their household.
Because this case is very likely kept privately, and the people who knows it are forbid to share it freely without permission, considering it's a very delicate case with multiple missing persons, and they could get into legal trouble if they do it. Besides, this case were also very dangerous with the possibility of curses and demons, so people definitely wary exposing it to the public, since there could be victims from outsiders that were trying to investigate it.

何度もこのシリーズを見ていますが、鬼部屋の内装がなされていないことに初めて気が付きました。明るい状態で見たこと自体初めてだったかも。いつも薄暗がりだったり白黒だったので。
物置であるならばありえる壁紙が貼られていない状態。襖にも襖紙が貼られていない素の状態。うちは築40年近いですが、階段下の物置はクロスが貼られていないし床板へも装飾なされていません。
物置だったら何とも思わなかった小さめのこの部屋で寝泊まりしていたお婆さまがいたと言う話。
今までとは違う考察が新たに感じられました。
ウチの実家も古民家ですが、鬼部屋はそもそも窓の位置がおかしいので、明らかに物置小屋として作られていると思いました。部屋自体の位置としてもね。それと、簡単に出られない構造になっているので、外に出せない状況の人を隔離していたかもしれません。

鬼部屋の押入れの扉の中間に何か擦り傷みたいな線があったのですがもしかしたら押入れにあった留め具は押入れの扉につけていて閉じ込めていたのかもしれません、そしてなんとか無理矢理こじ開け出ようとしたが鬼部屋の扉に鍵がかけられておりそこで力尽きたという考察もできます

本来であればすぐに開けてみたくなる所ですが、部屋に置いてある鏡台や箪笥に気を取られて気づいていませんでした…。
スケッチブックの絵はとても不気味ですね。
4TH WALLさんが「里子さんでは？」と考察された『一本角の鬼』に生えているのは、杉の様な針葉樹に見えます。
その他にもスケッチブックには女の子の立つ地面の下に人が描かれていたり、何より一本角の鬼の傍には山の絵が描かれていますし……人形を山に埋めに行く明さんの姿が思い出されます。
あと、気になったのがスケッチブックに描かれた鯉のぼりの絵です。
鯉のぼりが飾られた柱の立つ地面の下、バツのつけられた鬼が描かれています。
あの家はかなり広そうなので、もしかしたらちょっとした鯉のぼりなら立てられる庭もあるかもしれません。
でも端午の節句は男の子の日ですし、朱美さんしか子供のいない家で立てたのかと言われると微妙ですよね……単純にどこかで目にした鯉のぼりを描いただけかもしれません。
ただ、その鯉のぼりも黒い真鯉（父）と緋鯉（母）しか描かれてないのが、なんだか意味を持っていそうで怖いです。
朱美さんも具合が良くないそうですが、里子さんが何らかの影響を与えているのでしょうか？
調査は終わりに向かっているとの事ですので、現在はもう何らかの決着が付いていそうですが……続報をお待ちしています。
