Tarantino doesn't believe in improvisations because he believes everything that could be said should be written in the script. And his scripts are 700-1000 pages long hence he said that he wanted to make plays on them because he cannot give that much content into his 2.5-3 hour long movies. (I guess he is planning a series though, as said on Tom Segura's podcast.) He said that he does all the work before the script upto what the emotions and behaviour would be and he has penned it into very high detail. He just wants his actors to do what he wants them to do. Yes there is a chance for improvisation, then he does consider it after you have given the take he wanted. The improve that Shan is pointing out and Ishak rightly commented that the drunk scene needed improvisation because it was written, and then the glass break scene no could have predicted but it went well with the scene playing, hence he kept them
It is ironic that the actors are constantly complaining about freedom of expression especially when several controversial series have actually been released during the rule of this government. People will object to several contents, it is only natural because content is always one-sided. You know what I mean.
