Music Used In Video:
Culture Club- "Karma Chameleon"
I actually appreciate this song more than I ever did and I think the video adds alot to the idea of cruising along the Mississippi with a washboard, just havin fun!
My son really caught me off guard with his comments, but he was right on with the vibe of the song…just having fun! Thanks for watching.
Terrific concept I think you two have breaking the generational gap of music because the previous and the next generation seem to always dislike each others music. Thank you for this.
I grew up in that time. I was about 15 when this song came out. I still have alot of love for this song as well as all of their other songs. I also have alot of love for Boy George because he battles so many things and came back a much stronger person. Sober! I respects the fact that he was very candid and admitted his problems, spoke publicaly about them. He is still around, band back together and have toured. I love his solo album as well. His voice now is so much richer that back then. Listen to the song King of Everything!
Moi aussi j avais 15 ans et de l entendre nous ouvre le coeur en deux ! Notre adolescence si loin 😢
Great 👍 show ! I grew up listening to some great tunes from the 70s and 80s and it's really great you are introducing your son to some awesome tunes . Great Times..
Please down the road introduce your son on some 70s and 80s groups like the Police, Dire Straits , Duran Duran and I can go on lol 😆 .
Great Times 😎😎
He's spot on with the style this song was going for, based on their river cruise video
Ty was spot on with that one, ha. Thx for watching the show!
One of my favs❤️
Hahaha when Ty said it sounded southern I remembered that the clip was filmed on a paddle steamer! Then dad mentioned it!
My Fav episode so far because Ty really caught me off guard with his comments. So funny! Thank you so much for watching man!
I loved that music video - neat story
The Reflex by Duran Duran symbolises the 80s, and anything from Madonna's True Blue album.
Great band, "Victims" is my favorite.
Your right, Great Band always!
Huckelberry Finn vibes x Ty! Ha ha. He makes laugh a lot.
Ty really caught me off guard with that take 🙃
Harmonica: Judd Lander. He also played on Church Of The Poison Mind.
There are really good stuff here :)
Thx Vincent 😎😎
Fun 80s song
Ty actually correctly guessed the feel of the song as the video to this tune is pictured on a late 1800s Louisiana riverboat.
Indeed yes, he really caught me off guard with his take on the song.
Boy George=Deliverance??? Next time try either Violent Femmes or Flesh for Lulu!!
Your so funny, Indeed we will hit those artist just for U man 🤘🏻
Some ribbits and a washboard 🤣 Boy George would kill it
That’s funny 😄 totally
FACT CHECK: Sorry guys, it's not George playing the harmonica. It's a very experienced player named Judd Landers. He played on other CC songs too.
That's good to know 😎 I was fortunate to take Ty to see Culture Club in 2016 and he loved it! 😎 I do recall George playing it live however. He also forgot half the lyrics 😳 But overall a fantastic show ❤️🤘🏼
Ty's got an interesting idea for a cover. It might work. Covers are about making the song your own without violating it. I think it could work.
This was my mom's favorite song.
Way Cool 😎😎
Belongs to my childhood and should stay there 😂 it is too long for my present self and I think the 80’s have fallout from grace with me 🤪
Yikes Julia, your bit harsh today 😳ha
