Thorri | The Beauty of old Instruments

Thorri is the fourth month within the old icelandic calendar. At the first day of this month farmers went out to welcome 'Thorri' - the natural spirit of winter and frost.
This very day Icelanders celebrating this event with traditional food an drinks. We made our own interpretation and dignify a special instrument, that we found in a secon hand shop. It's the gusle and it doesn't sound like the music in the video ;) If you would like to hear what I'm really playing, write a comment and let me know!
