The built-in speakers offer a great solution for livestreaming, practicing, or even personal monitoring in some situations. High-quality onboard effects options including 4 knob-controlled channel Sweep FX and 13 fully customizable and assignable BPM FX options with a dedicated FX control section and illuminated engagement button.
As you might expect, the Live 4 supports all the great stuff that comes along with being an Engine OS device, including dynamic lighting control over Philips Hue, Nanoleaf, and DMX, and onboard file analysis.

I agree and ordered one. Love the speakers on my Mixstream. This unit is like a very beefy Numark on steroids. 1300$ is a steal.

Its a cheap plastic toy, just save some money and get a proper quality controller

More portable, can take in kitchen, garden, park with power bank and can do this without bringing laptop or extra speakers, for a little fun
The built in speakers are also good for people like myself, that can’t play loud music.
I just think it’s silly to spend £2000 plus when I can’t even play loud music. I feel a bit stupid for even ordering sc live 4 but I’m going to set it up tomorrow and hope that the speakers are actually good enough to get some fun mixing at home.

I love everything Denon exept for the jogwheels. lol
Why? I was going to buy it. What’s wrong with the jog wheels?
@@grahamkelly8662 nothing brother, it’s personal preference, just got the sc live 4 my self- very decent responsive jog wheels, not a scratching DJ so I can’t speak for that side of things but yeah - they spin and have nice tension (not adjustable )

If you got the Prime 2 or Prime 4 don't get theses controllers cause it won't be an upgrade... These are upgrade for the Numark Mixstream Pro.

It looks amazing. I like the colors for the lights on the console. I love the denon gear but green lights still haven't grown on me as much
what is the brand of labtop stand you are using behind the unit? Do you think the screen is large enough for weddings?
So I just opened my account live 4 and I do not have a proper product box like here with artwork. I only have a cardboard box with sc live inside wrapped up.
Does this mean I have been sent a used unit? I want the damn proper box to store it in.
Everybody hating on it, but the modified layout alone adapting to closer cdj mixer setup is a selling feature. Remember how ddj 400 sold so much just for this reason.

my theory is its for the guys looking to upgrade to a rx3 from rx2 its not meant to be for existing prime users

If this could be connected to LC6000 and making the LC show similar screen info as SC Live4 - I'd stormrun to the shop to buy it.

@@MekaniQ Yep, just wanted to know if there are two lc6000-s (occupying two usb ports) then how would Djs Back-2-Back? On Dj could get sd card and the other one ...that printer cable kind of connection into usb? Don't think so right.
LC6000 don't have a screen. All info would be on the central screen.

Broooo, so sad that they got rid of the prime 4, bad luck having mine stuck in the Mexican customs control (I knew I had to pay taxes), but then they told me to pay for a lot of stuff, in total I had to pay like 2000 dollars, like bro, w h y, now we get this instead, with speakers? Oof why

@@JDDupuy glad you made it. I am searching for Prime 2 for months but guess what they realized it is not a good deal for them so they decided to shut it down and made this crappy SC Live 2 instead...
I'm hoping, and I might suppose this is not a replacement of a Prime series.
Maybe just a different controller for different people with a different price.
I expected them to refresh the Prime 2 and Prime 4, but the SC Live pricing is making me interested.

Design is horrible at one look it’s only good for bedroom dj doesn’t look professional, it’s a mix design of numark mixtrack with the pioneer style monitor knob,,, the Denon Prime 4 looks better and more stylish bigger monitor means easy viewing and engine processor is not bad with the latest version update,, pioneer is a shit design and pioneer are only good on some effects
