I think we’re confused on the process here. The grading process is an assembly line processes. It’s not like a grader opens your submission and then takes out the package. Grades the cards. Prints your labels and seals the slabs then checks QA. The graders just grade 😂 and then it’s gets graded by a second grader and possibly a 3rd if there’s conflicts in the grades. But each step is a different process. Your order shows up to them in a bin. They grade and it moves to the next step. So it’s not like they are sitting with 10 orders being done from start to finish. There’s gonna be errors, but to me the question is what does the company do to fix it and make it right. That’s where these companies drop the ball. But let’s be honest and fair. PSA for example is grading around 1,000,000 cards per month. Even if they operated 99.9% perfect that’s still 1,000 cards a month that are wrong… 12,000 cards a year
if they have a success rate of 99.9% most companies would be praising and swooning over them, reaching such rates are pretty rare even in serious industries like medicine or pharmacy (granted their error rate is pretty low due to regulations).
Ya bullshit. None of the grading companies have 3 different people grading your cards. If they did the grades would be more accurate and predictable. So your saying about 10 different people touch your card all doing something different. That's even worse. I highly doubt that's how it's done.
@@coolyeh1017 that’s my point I highly doubt the success rate is 99.9% I’m simply saying due to the volume if it was that it would be around 1000 cards. I’d a wager it’s a lower success rate and is actually quite a bit more cards on the market that are wrongly graded/labeled etc…
@@buffalobill9793 you absolutely get dual grades on cards. The third grader only evaluates if there’s discrepancy. That’s the process. That’s what they say takes place. It’s what people who have insider info confirm. You don’t have to believe it if you don’t want to. But until we’re provided with data to prove otherwise you have to take them at their word.
@@scubasteve2903 no I don't. But it does explain some things. Let me see if I understand this correctly. Your card is first graded by the first grader then its graded again by the second grader. If the first grader says PSA 10 and the second grader says PSA 9 then they have to call in the big shot to break the tie. I'm assuming a high seniority employee, you know like a third grader. However if the first grader and the second grader both agree its a PSA 10 then they skip the third grader altogether because it doesn't matter what the hell the third grader thinks they would be over ruled by the unison of the first and second graders. I'm starting to get a clearer picture now. So the employees that do the qc checks does it work the same way. First its checked by the first grader and then by a second grader and if they both give it a thumbs up they just skip right past the third grader again. But if the first grader and the second grader are squabbling that's when the all mighty third grader steps in to settle the dispute. Really I guess that pretty much explains it all. The damn grading companies are using child labor to grade our cards. Imo they shouldn't be using first second or third graders to grade our cards they should have to at least be in high school in order to get a job at a grading company. So if your a fourth or fifth grader don't even waste your time applying because your over qualified and they won't hire you. Only first second and third graders need apply.

Actually, that Charizard IS a Special Illustration Rare. You can tell that by the two rarity stars being gold. I assume the gold one will have the same artwork on a regular Full Art. We just did not have any Tera SIR card before.
I am buying Cgc 10s. That gold label is going to be selling for more than a Psa 10 soon. Surprised its selling less than Psa right now considering Cgc grades harsher and pop reports. Gold 10 will be the next chase like a cheaper Bgs black label.
You are completely wrong. You must be inexperienced. If you think some new grading company will surpass PSA your nuts just cuz their prices are cheaper don't mean they will be worth more.
I wanted to say I seen something I thought was messed up a bit a Pokémon UA-camr that opens cards got a Cgc graded card inside a different company’s case and it was a psa case that just made me wonder that’s all
The most pro grading service that is legit and takes pride in grading as an art is CGA (card grading australia) Their training stems from forensic and documentation examination. So they understand how to observe official documents on a professional level. The only issue i feel they have is a they lack a register, which is a big thing of data collecting. But they really grade well overall.
Maybe they need some kind of regulatory body to keep these companies holding true to what they represent. Something like a commission that overseas the bare minimum standards for grading and conducting business in this field.
BGS and CGC equally fucked up. I can imagine the PSA fuck up was actually someone typing 10 instead of 1, which MIGHT make sense. Either way I agree with you on the fact that they likely don't have a QC step.
🤣🤣🤣 PSA is currently defending the 6 mislabeled cards of mine since the day the asked me to review it for errors. This is funny though because I only send to PSA in hopes for a higher grade for selling. The BGS guy was clearly high off of his mid grade texas weed. I imagine the CGC guy gave up the moment he clocked into work.
Does cards rock. Thank you for putting me on to them and I also bought a beautiful base set Charizard. They also sell singles 😊shipping fast and packing is very professional

I want to say PSA but at least they sent the correct card lol. Gonna go with Beckett as they didn’t even send a Pokémon card. Cgc close but at least it was the right tcg and was the same Pokémon even if it was the wrong card
That PSA 10 is correct, because those ancient creases and should not effect the grade. Nothing new by PSA the grade fake cards and giving them authentic grades 😂

"All right the video is ruined we got bad words all in it" LMAO
Ancient Mew was supposed to be a PSA 1. Probably wasn’t an actual mistake by the grader themself. Which is why they deactivated the cert.
A fucked up label is one thing, but I would be livid if I sent in an alt art Lugia and got a regular full art back.
Bur if you sent in a full art Lugia and got an alt art Lugia back you would be doing a happy dance.

The grader for the Ancient Mew took the title a little too literally. "Yeah, looks ancient to me, guess it's a 10."
NGL that Ancient Mew doesnt look to bad when its that damaged, makes it look realistic. Or so that PSA grader probably thought but hes on to something
