TL;DR blizzard went soft on exploiters because they are notable guilds/players. If you, a civilian, were to do the same exploit, blizzard would ban you much more harshly.
TL;DR blizzard knew about exploiters weeks. and wait for first 1 week hc to ban people make ban make hc guiled feel it. 45 crest VS lossing 64 hours of gear up. on 6-16 charthers.
Exploit early, exploit often. get 45 cherst and losse 4 days where more less play 16 hours to gear up. 45 crest vs 64 hours game time. if feel that this pay off in any way. baby brain in world. probly 1 guy that wold post. top guilds killed boss after 2 weeks raiding wow is so easy. even do raid spent more time raiding then next guilds gone over 3 months.
The ban is deserved but ....4 days? really? 1 or 2 weeks ban is the most fair, idc if the guys are pro players or celebrities. If they abuse an exploit it should be punished and if that ruins his team's race its the perpetrators fault.
in cata for abuse the LFR you got 1 week ban. if feel that abuse to get 45 crest more worth 1- 2 weeks ban. then you must be drunk. blizzard could done this week ago. they wait. soft ban this early expolits. so that will come down on it doing. just when world first race where exploting most boss.
So... if you're a high end player u are alowed to exploit the shit out of the game without getting a real punishment and that as a "pro player" who should be a person normal players can look up... I don't like this, its unfair and like cheating which should result in a ban from world first for that player who abuse any system.
If they would have banned them for longer, they would have just bought another account and power leveled a few toons in a day. It would have done almost nothing......
The drowning kid meme with Blizzard hugging raiders, Mythic+ players drowning and then shot of the skeleton of PVPers. Those dudes are still running Arathi Basin💀
Blizzard shotgunned every single person that was logged into multiple accounts w/ 4-day bans. I had a character fishing, not even in the same zone when I turned in whatever quest was bugged. Why the hell should I get a 6-month ban? How am I a detriment to the integrity of the game? I would have literally had to know about this bug, in advance, to avoid it. I will take a bad samaratin ban for being stupid and not noticing, but people pulling out the pitchforks screaming, 'Kperma bAn the ch3aterz!', might want to calm down.
Barely an advantage. They get a trinket that they use for 2 days during splits until they get a better trinket basically. Hardly an exploit, if they care that much about grinding for those sweet renown cosmetics and toys I say let them. Didn't realize the RWF raiders appreciated the casual content so much tbh.
Absolute joke of a ban. These same players will happily exploit next time one shows up, they didn't do a single thing to discourage people. Also god, that Gingi tweet. What a turd lol, gets all defensive that people don't like that others cheat.
when post this did spend 1 sec see if what you where saying makeing any senes. 16 spilt run. you out rage that people got what 45 more crest. other people in this tread saying you should get ban 6 months for 45 crest. legion top guilds destroy ah on 3 server. BFA you had monkes jumpe of the platfrom on blackhand.
The ban is irrelevant; this wouldn't have happened if Blizzard had checked their game quickly. You have the best players in the world doing this; four days is a pause, and they will out-gear a top-100 player in a few days before their race. I would have done it, too.
you too would pay blizzard 100 dollars just to get more Crest. gear you get sucks. if feels this is bad on leigon top guilds destroy the AH on 3 server just beacuse blizzard made harder to trade items.
i dont care if they do the exploits, its alot of trouble and stuff to pull off this exploits and will probably be done by the 1% so just fix the exploit and let it go, no normal person will do this as it is too much trouble anyway
Let’s be honest, a lot of these RtWF raiders MAKE A LIVING from their gaming. If they’re taken completely out of the race for “exploiting” an oversight by blizzard devs, they could and WOULD sue for damages. It would be TERRIBLE PR even worse than a few people being upset about some people not being “punished”. It’s a game, they deserve to play, and provide entertainment to everyone who watches the race. I think blizzard made the right call.
Guys stop cry babying . That exploit dont change nothing for me and you normal players . Its just a small advantage betwin rwf bois . Its not going to dent the game for us
It’s a fair ban because if they did ban them longer it would have ruined the race and secondly the win for liquid wouldn’t have meant anything so they wouldn’t be happy either
@@richardroon it would have ruined the world first race sorry it’s not worth ruining it. There’s money on the line and exposure for the community. This sets a precedent moving forward that they will bring the hammer down so now guilds won’t think they have to abuse exploits.
@@ticien1tough luck. They shouldn't be exploiting in the first place. The Ban should definitely affect their race in order to incentivize people to abide by their rules.
They should absolutely be banning these people so they have consequences on the race. Make it so these top players stop looking for every single exploit they can abuse, it's boring. It's lame that the game is a culture of "exploit everything and see what you can get away with" cause the consequences are basically non-existent.

You mean "ban you permanently"
2 week bans so they miss M+ and mythic raid
100%. This should have been 2 weeks. If you are going to exploit, you should not be allowed in the world first race.
They should have banned for a week at least
They expoilt early and often. It ruined the pandaria thing too

Am I misunderstanding something, how were they able to multibox chars on the same account or warband?
If you have multiple WoW accounts under the same Battle.net account, all those characters are in your Warband.
Joint accounts.
@@VDHmain so the warband is shared on joint accounts?
@@sethrankin5319 no it's kinda weird. Rep is shared, mounts, tmog, but not boe and bow.
@@VDHmain thank you for explaining this! Much apprec!
I didnt even know you could log into your other characters at the same time as the others that is certainly new

How do you multibox same warband toons concurrently?
Would've been way more entertaining for them to get banned for two weeks

I feel a exploit giving a 4week advantage (turning in 4 weekly quests) should equal a 4 week ban. fair and simple.
Multiboxing is allowed because gives money to BlizzTards.
The saddest part of this story is that a world first player had to resort to multiboxing...wtf?
What??? They don't have to at all; they choose to multibox. We could all multi box and no life it, but we actually have lives
