I'm 18. Just graduated from high school in May. I just lost my mom 8 months ago from COPD. I miss her so much. My mom was a big Backstreet Boys fan. This song will literally make me burst into tears because I will always be a fan of my mom and my mom will always be a fan of me. R.I.P. Mom (1966-2023). 😇🕊😭❤. Other songs from the 90's that will make me cry about my mom is "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion and "Crossroads" by Bones Thugs 'N' Harmony. My mom was also a big fan of Bones Thugs 'N' Harmony.

This song reminds me of how much I appreciate my mother. I lack so much confidence. My mother believes in me more than I believe in myself. She helps me with so much, and is very patient with me. She is definitely the most important person in my life, and I don't know where I would be without her. I love my mom so much 🙂

This has always been a favorite song of mine. I know every lyric by heart, and yet it still makes me cry every time I hear it. Tonight, it hits home a lot harder. A couple weeks ago, we found out that my mom’s cancer has returned for the fourth time now (stage 2, if I’m not mistaken). This song reminds me of how precious my mom is to me and that she will always be my best friend in the whole world, no matter what. Thank you writing this song all those years ago. When you're performing, you usually distance yourself somewhat from what you're singing, so that you don't become an emotional wreck and can't finish the song. It's like half of yourself is singing and half of you is watching yourself singing. At least that's what I do! lol Plus you get used to it after a while.

22 years ago this coming July, my adopted brother died at 18 years old ☹️ I missed his funeral by a couple of days, our small little town held a candle light for him that I was there for and they played this song at his wake ☹️ this song will always always mean the whole world to me ... I learned the lyrics to this song and when I gave it to my mom, I sang it to her. I knew that this song was powerful. And not a day goes by that I don't think of her. She passed away on 11/19/2014 and even tho we had our problems she was my perfect fan.

I was 7 when this album came out and recently came across it again, realized I knew EVERY song and every word, even though it was my big sister and older cousins who were the teens hahaha
It's been 17 years since my son and I reached Bnai Mitzvah together. This was the song he picked for us to dance together. Every year on this day he sends me a special message about that day and I close my eyes and I can see us dancing together. Amazing song.
