@@rkturty that was a really good storyline i gotta agree with you here. I also loved karev being chief in s15 but still that episode could have been a perfect ending, everyone was so happy
If they had added a few things and tied off some loose ends, this couldve worked as a series finale and i would have been fine with it, they could have shown that alex has kids who he promises will stay in their lives but still be married to jo, they could have brought some old characters for the farewell and bringing back teddy to show she is pregnant with owens baby, deluca would still be alive, we wouldnt have a show without deluca,jackson,alex,april ..
@@MDaggatt but it would be difficult to keep bringing jo on the show and their kids, while alex is just missing, i hate it but they were right, they needed something that will make him leave the whole scene, i mean they should have just killed him to be honest.
@@kevinsam3078 I agree his leaving was probably for the best... but They didn't need to do this. Jo deserved better. Their love story deserved so much better. It doesn't help that I absolutely hated Izzie with Alex... Jo and him were much better together. They basically threw away his character growth and implied he always loved Izzie. Alex deserved better. They could have had him leave to take care of his mom, and having it be too much for the relationship between him an Jo and end it there. Robbins could have offered him a once in a life time opportunity and they could have sent him with her while Jo couldn't leave. They could have made up a story line where he was hired to fix up a hospital (like when he was fired from grey Sloan). Literally ANYTHING other than this.
That was my last episode. And I’m happy about that. No Alex leaving Jo for Izzy in my world. No April and Matthew splitting up just so she can be there for 5 minutes with Jackson. (It would have been fine if they got a spin-off with Karasic) but not for the one off thing. This was the end and I’m happy about that.
Edit season 14 a bit, get japril back together, calizona and do a bit of work on the amelia/owen/teddy front and I'm sure they could have ended the show here
unpopular opinion: if the show had ended with this episode i wouldn't complain
