I use a 16X loupe and when things get critical I set up a dlsr to do macrophotography which I blow up on a 50" TV serving as my monitor. It doesn't take long and man, those trichomes loom large. Great hobby for an old gent.

I have a few things to look at the trichomes with. It's important information if want want to harvest at our prefer best time.

You get high as f*** when they're clear
When they are clear they have little to no THC present and that's what gets us high, there's tons of research about this.

I can’t find an app for my Amazon fire tablet to use my microscope.
I think the app OTC should work. Search Google for apps for microscopes. Let me know if it works out.
