Really cool addition to this feature, I use Reaktor 6 and also ABSYNTH 5 as a modular insert for effects, like Reaktor you can build your own effect module also absynth 5 takes a audio in signal so you can patch the audio in and add filters and ocilators pluse additional samples to your sound , really cool feature and loads of fun too

If you wanna add an fx filter on the midi tracks you can export only the midi tracks then import them back into mpc beats as a sample

Yeah me too I find it easier to look at the computer to find third party plugins. It’s easier to find the ones that comes with the mpc .

this video was a great help with adding effects, but I can't add effects to my list of VSTs. they just don't show up when I scan all in the folders
Make sure you are installing VST 2 and not vst3. The mpc software doesn’t recognize vst3

What about adding, for example, an AIR filter with radio effect and assigning it to a sequence or whole music but drawing curves so I can decide at what moment the filter will start / end... is it possible?

Yes you can but Akai make their Automation so complicated it’s hard to explain watching my video on Automation and the n watch my video for arranging. Put both techniques together and that should answer your question 🙏🏾👍🏾🙌🏾

Thanks for your video. Very informative. i have a question. is there any way to insert effects on each pad on a drum kit? for example. Just have Delay on the Snare only and maybe reverb on my hit hat. When i add effects it applies that effect to everything, the whole Kit. i just want to add effects to a speciific Pad and create my own unique drum Kit...Is this possible? i have the MPC Studio and the same software your using...
Yes you can do that. Click the icon that is to the right of the ( i ) icon on the bottom left corner. And then you can insert effects on individual pads thanks for watching I appreciate it 🙏🏾👍🏾
I will have to return to this if and when I can ever figure out how to get plugins and expansions to work at all. I have followed all the steps multiple times, they load, but when I try to access them they are not there. I can’t find any way to make them work. I do have the “free” version of MPC Beats and the program and plugins/expansions are free downloads that came with the purchase of the M-Audio M-Track Duo. I’m not sure what to do now.

How the (alt button or the Ctrl button)and drag the effect to the next track. It’s one of the the (alt or the Ctrl)

Welcome to the channel. They have all different types of mic . It depends on what you are trying to use the mic to do. I well rounded mic that can do everything from singing to podcasts is the Shure SM7 B. I would recommend that mic . And to connect a Guitar it’s several ways the best way from my experience is connecting it to an audio interface that is connected to you computer like the Focusrite interface 🙏🏾👍🏾. How can i add an effect for example in the middle of song, in some parts of song etc. i used to know how to do that, but now this way doesnt work or maybe i am doing it wrong, cant find info out there too! Thanks for help
I use automation to do it. Just select the part of the song you want to add the effect to and then use automation

Hey Dos how come when i add reverb to my snare, it takes away the sound of the snare sample- meaning, the more I increase the effect the more it reduces the snare sample and increases the reverb effect over it. I dont want the integrity of the snare to reduce, i want the snare to still pop with no change, with some reverb. And ive tried different reverbs. Is it because im using the reverb directly on the snare track and not using the "returns"? Or because my snare is a stereo sample and not mono? Any suggestings is a blessing. Thank you kind sir..
Bro I am not sure why that is happening but sometimes that’s what a reverb does it put sounds into space. don’t add to much of it and yeah try the send and return. Sometimes is the sample already have a reverb in it when it was created that could cause issues also. Just try not to add too much the sound. What kind of monitors (speakers) are you using that could be the issue also. Try with some good headphones and see if you still have the same issue. It’s a lot that could cause the issue. I am not sure but those are some things that I can think of

Yes it is . Use the automation it’s a little hard to explain. I have a video on my channel about automation. The only thing is that you can’t do automation on the master track. Akai need to change that

I think he was talking about how to see the insert boxes , I’m having the same problem. I see it on your screen but I don’t see it on my software , I have the full version and I don’t see a insert box . You have insert boxes all the way to the left and even over every track , I don’t it’s missing .
It’s like buttons on the bottom of the screen and on the right side of the screen that enable and disable them

Please make a video on how to sync tempo of different samples on Akai MPC beats software/mpk3....... For example in virtual dj software when we play two different samples/songs we are able to sync their tempo/bpm by pressing the sync button ..... How to do this in mpc beats.... I am a beginner using this software and Akai mpk3......cannot figure it out even after watching some videos.....just kinda feel even more confused..... like stuck on this barrier of syncing samples .....

When I click on my plugin after inserting it, it does not come up like yours just did. Mine come up different. Mines use to come up that way. Maybe after the update. I don't know.

Like if I turn that air pumper effect on, it pays for the entire beat and I only want to it to play just from bar 53 to 60.
+james bond ok you have to create the automation. If you put it on the program you want to automate. In the top right hand corner you will see the automation button it should be green with a letter (R)in it that means read. Hit the button until it turn red with a W in it that mens write. Because you want to write an automation. Turn it to W and then go to the spot where you want it to automate. Hit play and move the button on the effect you want to automate. Let me know if this works for you .

Question: if i want to put effect in only a part of complete sequences . Ex: the track is 60 and i need effect on sequence 10 to 20. How to do that on mpc beat?

With the vst just add the effect to the 1 of the 4 effect insert and that’s it. With the guitar just add the effects to the audio track that you have the guitar going to. Then where it say Auto just change it until you hear the effect. I can’t remember what it say after auto just try changing where it say auto
