Today we are demoing the Sonor's new Jost Nickel Signature Beech Snare Drum. The 6.25"x14" shell is 14 plies of beech wood making the shell similar to another of our favorite Sonor snare drums: the Sonor Phonic. It also features 2.3mm triple flanged hoops and Sonor's dual glide snare strainer. The finish is a high gloss piano black with a simple silver sparkle stripe. This drum gets great sounds at all tuning ranges. It cuts really well at higher volumes but still has great snare sensitivity at lower volumes. An excellent and versatile addition to any snare collection!

How do have the top and bottom heads tuned...they sound great..
