As a Brazilian who loves makeup and finding new products, i’m feeling like you did a very poor job trying to find brands and products, the least you could do was give the informations about my country right… we do use face products and we are GREAT at producing eyeshadows and all the makeup stuff you could imagine, we have the greatest brands with amazing products like Niina Secrets, Bruna Tavares, Nathalia Capelo, Vic Beaute, Natura and many others !!!

I live in Canada, and really close to the USA and guess what? Every time I go to my home country Brazil I always bring lots of makeup. The quality and price of our makeup is the best! Hair products as well. Also Brazil is huuuge, the weather is very different from region to region. So yeah… misconceptions..

Hi James, I am Brazilian...and I think you didnt make a research about our make up, neither your friend who is saying stuff in the video... We have great quality eyeshadow palletes here, most people dont wear American products and we DO LIKE wearing makeup weather is light or heavy despite the weather. I suggest you try playboy or ludurana eyeshadows, or if you want beauty gurus try the Mari Saad ones, or Nadia Tambasco, probably gonna change your mind a little bit.

Hi James! Not to throw any shade but here are some facts about Brasil:
• we don't speak spanish (as many americans believe) and Paraguay is not a part of our country;
• in the worldwide "beauty and personal care" rank Brazil hits 4th place and made US$ 22,7 billions in 2022;
• Bruna Tavares is actually very close to expanding her beauty brand to USA, she just joined the Kiss New York group this year (try her Wonderlash mascara, it's amazing and made me throw away my former favorite Too Faced - Better Than Sex);
• yes, it's extremely hot in here but our brands got way better in offering products with longevity and high quality so, yes, we use a lot of makeup daily (doesn't mean is cakey);
• of course we use foreign makeup like MAC, Rare, Essence, ABH and so much more, but the our beauty market had just hit the point of a very similar (even better, in some cases) quality so some items are just way better for our climate and diversity of skin types;
• in fact, it was Bruna Tavares who "forced" our beauty industry to really listen to our claims and needs.
Well, there's so much more of things that I could say but maybe next time you could do collab with Mari Maria or Bruna Tavares, how about that? It would be dope 😊😊

Franciny’s brand is actually highly appreciated in Brazil, her products are very and affordable, but to be fair she is more known by her line of lip glosses. She has a chocolate one (wich is my favorite) and a lot more, people say is kind of a too faced dupe. You should also try more products from Bruna Tavares (she is the best), and also Nina Secrets and Karen Bachini (all influencers)

Brasil here! You should try more Bruna Tavares makeup, she has all products to do beautiful full face, she has a product calls “bt velvet” has 32 shades, people use as eyeshadow. She did collections with Disney, what is stunning for us. We love Mari Maria too! And if you had a chance, try “Vizzela” too! Lastly, if you wanna try a fix and moisturizing spray, try “Niina Secrets by Eudora” the hole line is awesome. Love to see you using our brands!❤

James, before detonating some Brazilian Makeup starts to learn more about Brazilian culture before making any criticism, we do use American eyeshadows, but we use Brazilian ones a lot, which are even better.

Hi! Brazilian here, I think this video needs to have a part 2 and here’s why: about the brow: Bruna tavares has the BTBrow line, with one of the most shade ranges ever for a brow product. About the eyeshadows you should try the line Niina Secrets, by the brand Eudora. It’s really the best formula I have ever tryied. Specially the glittery ones. Mari maria also have eyeshadow pallets and Bruna tavares has the Disney line that is INSANE. We do make good eyeshadows! Haha
Also you haaaave to try the line of Mari Saad, by the brand Oceàne, it’s honestly one of my favorite brands ever

Dearest, 1. A map is TOTALLY wrong, Paraguay is Not part of Brazil. Did you fail in geography? 2. Ruby Rose is not Brazilian brand, did you really made research for his video? 3. For the exact reason if the heat, Brazilian makeup is so resistant, pigmented, etc, you should've search brazilian content creators for you to see how beautiful their makeup is. 4. There are a LOT of shadows pallets: Catharine Hill, Maria Saad, Bruna Tavares, Niina Secrets, Vult, Vizzela, Oceane, Contem 1g, O Boticario.

I think there was a lack of research on the type of makeup that product we consume here in Brazil.
And in Brazil we don't have a single climate, we have several different climates in each region in our country, so we can't encompass just one climate because this can vary.

YESS! So much of the information he had wasn't right, which I understand, coming from a Brazilian who probably hasn't lived in Brazil for a long time. Océane + Mariana Saad have THE BEST eyeshadows and brushes ever!! Vizzela setting spray is incredible, and BT honestly deserves an entire video dedicated to it (also with a lot more information because she isn’t just revolutionizing the Brazilian makeup industry, she's revolutionizing makeup).

Well, I don't know what research you did, but I'm sure it wasn't enough. In Brazil, there are many eyeshadow palettes with quality and pigment, such as those from FRAN, NINA SECRETS, MARI SAAD, OCEANE and many more. The idea of the video is great, but the research on Brazilian brands was lacking

@@nicoldelgado8542apparently, brands couldn’t ship setting sprays to the US. It’s very common with liquids that come with a spray. Same with perfumes. I think it depends on the size and regulations of the country you are going to ship the products.
