Kaloi Limenes, is a beautiful coastal setlement and historic port in southern Crete, Greece. Kaloi Limenes is located 77 kilometers south of Heraklion. In Kaloi Limenes, there are the ancient ruins of Lassea, and the small island of Agios Pavlos, where Apostle Paul landed on his way to Rome. Kaloi Limenes is also a major bunkering spot for ships in the Mediterranean, and you can see the impressive oil storage and terminal facility on the island. Nowadays, Kaloi Limenes is a popular camping area… In my opinion, people have overdone it a bit too much with all these wooden structures… What do you think?
