Thanks a lot for the lyrics, really appreciate it ✿ by the way,I think - but not sure - that the main chorus maybe like this : up up , Fade away or Oh~ Oh~ fade away instead of "and away" I might be wrong though xD, I just wanted to share my thoughts anyway,as I've always hear it that way :D Thanks again ^__^
This song always reminds me of a dear friend who passed away two years ago. We were in a tabletop role playing game together, and we considered this to be her character's theme song. Now that she's gone, the lyrics seem, sadly, even more fitting.
Clash…she blocks the first wave of energy with her sword, then raises it for a killing blow, but the demon knocks her backwards. She slides but catches her self, this time she rolls forward then leaps up at the last second, again the demon knocks her back, this time by grabbing her arm just before the blow is dealt. She is knocked to the ground; her sword goes flying landing just off to the side. The demon laughs and comes in close for the killing blow, she waits. There is little room, but she knows she is fast enough, she can stop him, she can end this…She waits. He comes within inches of her, his breath reaching the top of her head, she then rolls, just fast enough to stay out of his reach. She grabs the dark ebony blade, and stands, the demon howls in anger and charges at her…she waits, she is afraid of heights. Just as the demon reaches her she bends her knees positions her sword forward and closes her eyes. She feels it…the impact on her blade and something pushing against her, she tries to stay firm, to stay planted, but she gives just tiniest bit of ground, the demon falls. She feels the weight hit the ground, and opens her eyes, before her the red nightmare has been felled and she is left standing, with only a few bruises. She breathes a sigh of relief and pulls the sword out of the demon. She turns her head to the side, and that’s when she sees it…her feet only an inch away from the edge of the roof, and for the first time…she looks down.
She stands at the edge, one more step and she falls…so very far. She is afraid of heights, so she does not look down, for if she looks down, she may not fall, and she has to fall. She takes in a long lasting breath, as the wind rushes across her face and whips her long flowing red hair. She takes a step…and falls. Falling, falling, the wings deploy, now she is flying, up, up, she goes. She never looks down, for she is afraid of heights, instead she keeps her eyes straight ahead. There…she sees it the hulking red demon in the middle of the street, wreaking havoc on the people below, she must reach it, because no one else will. She closes her eyes, takes in a breath and dives down…down…she lands feet first with one knee touching the ground, sending a huge gush of wind in front of her. The little fiery Imps turn to see as she slowly rises and opens her eyes. In one hand, she pulls out the black ebony blade, in the second, nothing instead it glows bright blue and pulses with energy. She charges at the small demons, vaulting off a single crushed car on her way through and cutting the first two imps in her way. She lands and turns to the second group, letting out the blue pulse of energy, it sends a wave of imps flying…flying past the street, past the parked cars and into the now empty shops. More imps coming from the other direction, she takes her sword and cuts them in two, sending imp bits here and there. She releases another wave of energy, she cuts more down, soon…she has cut through them all…what is left? The hulking red demon.
She can’t fight him here, she knows that here she is small, he has the advantage, she needs to take it up…up, but she is afraid of heights. She takes a breath and raises her head to look it in the eye, it snarls at her, she smiles. Up she flies, she charges at his head, a single hand is used to toss her into a nearby brick building…the pain is almost unbearably, “No choice…” She thinks, “No one else…” She grabs whats left of the window and begins to climb to the roof. She gets to the top, and screams “Face me in the open, monster, if you dare.” It laughs and begins to climb up to her. She runs to the other end of the building, and stops just before the edge, she does not look down. The demon reaches the top, he stands hulking…red…terrifying…the stuff of nightmares…She stands, small, afraid, courageous, the stuff of legends. Its hands begins to pulse with red energy, she grips her sword with two hands…and charges.
You have to listen
You will be called
To a place you've never been
Don't look down
Don't look down
Up, up, and away
Up, up, and away
Listen
Listen
You have been called
And though you're unprepared
Up, up, and away
Up, up, and away
Up, up, and away
Up, up, and away
Don't look down
Don't look down
Don't look
Maybe "And all your *life* prepared" (which makes the most sense to me.
It sounds like "And all your lines are prepared" meaning you have a destiny.

Yours is good too. I guess we won't know for certain unless we talk to the band.
Thanks a lot for the lyrics, really appreciate it ✿
by the way,I think - but not sure - that the main chorus maybe like this :
up up , Fade away
or
Oh~ Oh~ fade away
instead of "and away"
I might be wrong though xD, I just wanted to share my thoughts anyway,as I've always hear it that way :D
Thanks again ^__^
Thx
Epic music really takes us on a great adventure, a world of fantasy and wonder.
