the characters in Girls meets World WISH SO BADLY they had the same chemistry that the characters in Boy Meets World have. Seeing the relationship between Cory and Shawn is full proof of that, as shown in this video :_)
That's right man. The characters in Boy Meets World had the best chemistry, which the characters in Girl Meets World can't beat those characters. However, they're not really so bad, even though some parts of the way they talk sounds so obvious like they're talking out of the script, there are some developments in the characters in GMW though, especially Maya. She's my favorite character in the series, the way she portrayed her emotions into her acting was great. And I think Riley and Maya's chemistry are good too. Cory and Shawn are the best there is in Boy Meets World, not even Riley and Maya can't top them, their friendship were raw and real, and it was relatable, but rare. Also, I think that between Cory/Riley and Shawn/Maya, even though they have things in common between them, but at the same time, they're not completely the same. Between Cory and Riley, they're not quite similar. Cory was an underachiever and a slacker, he was a hyperactive kid, he wasn't the smartest kid in school, he was troublesome and liked to lead troubles in class and school, he was average, and he was even more rebellious than Riley is, he tries hard to study getting good grades in his junior and senior years of high school, but sometimes he didn't really cared so much about his grades, he gets into trouble way more than Riley ever have, he didn't always do what his parents told him to do, and he got in detention a lot of times for things he did and didn't do, and he acts his age, but even when he grew up, he still has the childish sides in him; while Riley is such a good daughter and a good student, always strive herself to get good grades, is not rebellious, she listens to her parents even when she tries to rebel sometimes, she still follow rules, she hardly get in trouble at all, she is one of the smart kid in her class but tends to pretend not to, she never have detention, and she acts more mature than her age. As for Shawn, he lost so many people in his entire life, he lost so much things, he endured more struggles than Maya ever did, he was way, way more rebellious than Maya ever is, he ran away to find himself so many times, he also wasn't the smartest kid in school, he pushed his loved ones away a lot whenever there were problems coming to him because he doesn't want them to worry and because he hates "charity" and pity as he wants respect; while Maya only lost her dad to another family, but she still has her mom who cares and loves her and stays with her, she doesn't push people away, she can't go as far as Shawn did with his rebellions, she's a smart girl who acts like she's not, she is too loyal to Riley to let herself leave her best friend alone, she doesn't mind getting gifts, she's a little more open with her feelings than Shawn is because Shawn is not much of a talker and not so good with expressing his feelings.
What I love about the video was that you let Shawn and Cory and their friendship speak for itself. You kept the song minimum and in the background and just showed the beauty of this friendship and it was perfect. I cried at the end. I am so happy Shawn is back. They ruin me to no end. Can't wait for Eric and Mr. Feeny to be back as well!! Again, gorgeous video. You are brilliant!!!!!

This has, and always will be my favorite growing up show. No show comes close to showing what it's like to be awkward and young and desperate to be liked or cool, while also tackling things like death, love, broken homes and the meaning of doing the right thing even if you're doing it alone. BMW by far stands above the rest
I find this so insane to watch. I mean, I watched this as a kid, but it never hit me how cool it is that these two grew up so far together. Is there any other show or movie that show so many years of two kids growing up together while keeping the same actors? Harry/Ron/Hermione got 7 years, sure, but it's not even close. We've been able to track the growing friendship between Cory and Shawn (and Topanga, but she was less important to begin with) from the age of 11 to 35. That's just crazy. They've been friends on TV since I was born. There has never been a time when Cory and Shawn weren't the epitome of friendship in my life. I just never realised how cool it was until I saw the images of them as little kids in the same video as them as grown men. I hope you add in more clips from the later shows in the STILL ONGOING saga of Cory and Shawn. Let's hope it actually goes until they can legitimately play out the "They want you to take the rolls!" scene.

SO glad it wasn't made in this generation, they would ruin and I mean RUIN it. Plus I honestly don't think Rider and Ben would be down with that...whole...gay thing.
While I personally think it's an amazing example for young boys in particular to have a platonic relationship be depicted as intimate and meaningful as Cory and Shawn's, there's also nothing at all "abnormal" about gay relationships. And considering that Ben and Rider both seem quite cool and open minded, I'd doubt they would have had a problem if the show had gone that route. No, there wouldn't have been anything wrong with portraying a great gay relationship (LGBTQ representation is necessary and important) and it most certainly would have been far ahead of its time if they'd went there! But like I said, the reason I appreciate the fact that they didn't is simply because it is so rare to find a portrayal of such an incredible, deep, and emotionally available platonic relationship between between young boys. And I think it's a huuugely *important* message to send to young boys that it is good and healthy and something to aim for to have a friendship like this, and it need not have anything to do with questioning sexuality (if it does, that's cool too, but loving someone that much doesn't *have* to mean you love them romantically). Heck, even just young people in general... it's important to know that a platonic relationship can be every bit as necessary and meaningful in a person's life as a romantic one! We as a culture put so much emphasis on romance, and Cory and Shawn are a perfect example of how sometimes you can love someone like crazy and need them in your life, and it has nothing at all to do with romantic attraction to them.

Girl meets world ruined Shawn. Shawn was such a real characher who went through some serious real life psychological struggles. He's a character I relate too. He was someone who wanted to rise out of his circumstance. He used art, music, and literature as a means to capture the quality of the world around him and make sense of his life and how it can be used. I came out of a family where I was physically abused and mocked and ended up getting a full ride on a bass scholarship . I had so many issues of wanting to push my friends away I left the college and started a community college and plan on taking a full time job playing bass for the navy.

I wish I had a relationship as beautiful and incredibly strong as Cory and Shawn's. What makes their relationship so unique and unmatched is the difference in personalities and that over time they have become more than best friends but brothers. In my opinion they are the best best friends I have ever seen and no matter what happens or how angry they are at each other they are always there to support their best friend. I am very envious of them.

I found this video a long long time ago, and still come back to it because of how amazingly done it is. This is still my favorite Shawn and Cory edit and always will be. It shows their chemistry as more than friends, as brothers perfectly in way that makes you feel for them. Boy Meets World is still one of the greatest shows in my opinion.

I'm not even going to pretend I'm not crying. I stumbled upon this show about a year ago. Cory and Shawn have broken my heart and filled it with joy so many times it's ok now. It's so easy to relate to either of them or both in my case. Family as broken as Shawn's but nice stuff and parents that Cory has. I hope those two will do more together in the future regardless if it's as themselves or as our beloved friends.

I recently got back into this show and I'm glad you as one of my favorite bromance vidders has vidded these two just alone and really paid tribute to them multiple times. I'm glad the talented side of the UA-cam vidding community has a fair handful of vidders who feel the same way about Shawn and Cory's amazing and epic friendship as i do.
I absolutely love how they both had their imperfections and friendship didn't solve everything but they stuck by each other and waded the struggles together.

We as a culture put so much emphasis on romance, and Cory and Shawn are a perfect example of how sometimes you can love someone like crazy and need them in your life, and it has nothing at all to do with romantic attraction to them.
I'm ok with that Love Cory and Shawn I grew up watching Boy meets World . It was the best show I could have ever watched til this day I will always love it and it will have something special in me. Memories I shared with my sister watching without a care in the world 💙💙💙💙

I relate too. He was someone who wanted to rise out of his
circumstance. He used art, music, and literature as a means to capture
the quality of the world around him and make sense of his life and how
it can be used. I came out of a family where I was physically abused and
mocked and ended up getting a full ride on a bass scholarship
. I had so many issues of wanting to push my friends away I left the
college and started a community college and plan on taking a full time
job playing bass for the navy.
Yeah they took shawn in girl meets world and took like all of the personality from him... they almost rewrote him honestly but this time without colour

Excellent video!!! Shawn & Cory were always the heart of BMW, maybe even more so than Cory & Topanga. Nice usage of scenes from GMW also, as well as making sure that the music didn't drown out the actors as often happens in these type of fan videos.
This is absolutely beautiful. I love this show and the best element of it was the friendship between Cory and Shawn.

I wish I had a relationship as beautiful and incredibly strong as Cory and Shawn's. What makes their relationship so unique and unmatched is the difference in personalities and that over time they have become more than best friends but brothers. In my opinion they are the best best friends I have ever seen and no matter what happens or how angry they are at each other they are always there to support their best friend. I am very envious of them.

I found this video a long long time ago, and still come back to it because of how amazingly done it is. This is still my favorite Shawn and Cory edit and always will be. It shows their chemistry as more than friends, as brothers perfectly in way that makes you feel for them. Boy Meets World is still one of the greatest shows in my opinion.

I'm not even going to pretend I'm not crying. I stumbled upon this show about a year ago. Cory and Shawn have broken my heart and filled it with joy so many times it's ok now. It's so easy to relate to either of them or both in my case. Family as broken as Shawn's but nice stuff and parents that Cory has.
I hope those two will do more together in the future regardless if it's as themselves or as our beloved friends.
This friendship is what everyone hopes to have i see similarties between them and girl meets world it was nice to see that after all this time their friendship is still as strong as ever

So I have had this in my watch later forever and I finally got around to watching everything and THIS is by far my favourite thing of like 700 videos. I'm only on season 1 of boy meets world right now (I used to watch episodes here and there when I was little but now I'm watching every episode) but I love this friendship SO much. I know this sounds corny but thank you so much for making this it's honestly BEAUTIFUL and I adore it.
