I'd recommend it personally. Some do not prep and that works for them.

Are you using Resin or epoxy?

Epoxy is a resin you will here then used interchangeably and both are correct. Not UV resin that's a whole different type of resin... I used KS resin liquidy split ultra uv or liquid stone ultra uv on this one. The UV in this case simply refers to it have better uv blockers to slow any yellowing. Hope that makes sense!
