The Cowboys 2022 draft class has been amazing.
He needs a mentor and accountability partner!!!
Absolutely!
The kid definitely has all the physical traits to succeed in this league. I just hope he can put tit all together soon
I for one hope the tits stay apart
Seems like he's in the dog house . I remember him playing more last year and making more plays.
I have been a fan of Sam since his college days. Great breakdown of his game.
Sam at RDE, Tank @ LDE, Micha at MLB. Micha blitz and cover. D Wilson put back into the box, sit Kearse. Surprise blitz D Wilson like we used to prior to his new contract.
He reminds me of a young Charles Haley with his attitude, play style, etc. If he can get a handle on that and keep it channeled to the football field he'll have a chance to be great.
I'm not comparing him to HoF Haley, just Haley in his first year or two.
Bro I have said same. He has the traits of Haley in the strength, power, burst, bend around to get the sack. He also plays pretty mean like Haley. But yes I agree there is only one Haley wish I was wrong! Love to watch Slam play.
I seen him beat the gunners down on kick off or punts a few times this year. He's very fast. With his speed and power, it's just a matter of time until he explodes.
He might be the first DE in the history of the NFL to play gunner.
They have to double team him too.
They NEED to unleash him alot more in 2024 and put micah at linbacker more on early downs while sam replaces him at edge
He is so productive on the field, I just wonder if his off the field issues might be affecting how many snaps he gets. Really hope he gets it all together.
Sam's special teams play, is really good as well.
This kid needs to be the inside linebacker.
Jeesh that's not a bad idea. Anything to get him more plays!
Next year, release Dorance Amstrong, give Sam a larger role in the defense and draft another speedy DE and LB.
Off subject, the Cowboys need more run stopping DTs and LBs
Awesome player 🏈🙏
What your thoughts on him maybe at linebacker.
No telling what his stats would look like if he got more snaps bc this dude is a beast when he’s out there and they need to swap his role with Fowlers especially since he gets offside often ugggg that type of crap is gonna call big games when it matters like in the playoffs.. when Sam is out there you know bc he known to sack and strip that ball and all kinds of crazy stuff he’s like a parsons mini me bc no one is like parsons but Sam is definitely like Paraons
They said Sam Williams was Micah 2.0 so it makes sense
I think Williams will take over for Lawrence when he’s gone
Eliminate the off the field BS and prioritize in becoming a better version of Sam Williams....the sky's the limit for this kid.
Unlike Randy Gregory...Williams has good mentors around him (Micah Parson for example).
Lane johnson jumping offsides almost every play to get an advantage. Anyone with eyes can see it, no flag their in philly. Parsons would have 30 sack in a season if they called holding. This league can care less about the defense, its all about offense
The dude is Terrible.
🛵 He shoulda kept his feet and blocked that punt a couple weeks ago.
The holding of our pass rushers is absolutely insane. No calls
Love how he plays, except the penalties. Just hope he stays out of trouble in his personal life
We better get Sam some more snaps. We need him down the stretch
Second best pass rusher on the team in my opinion and definitely the most upside. He's also decent against the run.
@@willjackson4354 Probably is. Not sure how they are going to get him on the field more though because they like DLaw against the Run and Micah on the Edges
Sam and Daron were my breakout players on defense and Tolbert and Malik Davis on offense. I truly thought Sam would have 10+ sacks this yr. I'm guessing the legal trouble early on and discipline problems have held him back some this yr. Sam has everything needed very quick first step and hands, strong and fast. Hopefully as he is getting more def reps he will get back to last yr progress. Still believe he is going to be unstoppable before long. Some of our vet D.L. are having disciplin problems pre snap penalties that we shouldn't be doing. Another great breakdown. This yr isn't over but already looking forward to his 3rd yr
unpopular opinion but id make micah play LB and only blitz on occasion we need him at LB "thats why we initially drafted him anyway" especially after shaq lenards said f the boys and joined the birds
@@alexanderamenta3276 totally agree Micah can rush from anywhere at L.B. he has proven to be very disruptive straight up the middle. We have enough depth on the D.L. to let Micah roam and not be schemed against easily or take all the chip blocks
Jerry has to understand he has a rough Diamond in Williams that needs to be refined and turn into a beautiful Jewel that will be showned by Dallas for next 10 years as substitute for Tsnk Lawrence who is getting Long in the tooth. We better not blow it with Williams and pay him his worth. He should be a starter next year or he may walk and Play with Giants or Commanders. Cannot let that happen. Jerry Dont blow it and take care of Williams and find someone to help him out with his emotions like a Clinical Psychologist.
I need more of him. Going to be a time we need micah as a LB.
You won't hear this on the TV shows but this defense is across the board pretty young. Looking at other teams that have top defenses they all have for the most part veterans at key positions. Dallas has a ton of one two or three year guys and if they can keep the majority of them that were all drafted by dallas in house , this defense will get nothing but better. Mazi , Williams , parsons , bland , diggs , osa are all top of the list of guys that are young and going to get better. There's more than I've listed but if they can keep this team together the sky is the limit. Seeing dak already got his bag I hope dak will be a team guy and take a little less to get and keep talent around him. He will still make a ton of money but if he wants a superbowl he needs to either not care about making an extra few million in exchange for a ring. It's not guaranteed but if he wants all the money he will never get a ring unless he does it this year. Either way he will never want for anything, do what Brady did and the guys around you will want to play with you and guys will want to come to Dallas like guys did in Tampa when Brady went there. We'll see.
Dak can make that up in endorsements I think he'll do the right thing this time around
Can you do Mazi the last few games? I haven't seen him playing much and when I did, it wasn't pretty.
What impresses me he’s a gunner on special teams
Isn't he a gunner on the punt team as well?
All well and good - but against the Eagles you MUST play Hurts like he's BOTH a QB and a RB.
The only problem I have with him is his untimely penalties. I hope he can get it together because he has so much potential. if he will only limit those penalties, he would see the field more. coaches are not going to put players that they don’t trust on the field.
100% agree.
Im so proud of my lil cousin!!! #54 #BigSam #HometownHero
Demarcus Lawrence took a few years to come into his own. Sam will be the same. He has a lot of raw talent! He’s still a little immature and he needs more playtime to develop his skills like you said! Over the next couple years, he will slowly take snaps away from Lawrence!
Give #54 a chance with more snaps cause I've been watching him since college and he been playing with micah couple years now plus he been practicing with him learning some new loves whether its going left, right, or just straight out bull rushing through that left or right tackle showing them left/right like he that asian Einstein
I love Slam and thought he would have 8-10 sacks, many TFL's, and strip sacks this year. I still believe in him but was also a tad disappointed vs my high expectations. Thanks for the tape and analysis. He has done great given the snap count. I trust in DQ so must be a reason he isn't getting the snaps. Wish it weren't so but is what it is. Cheers to see him BREAK out in the Dec-Jan!!
Jerry Jones doesn't like Sam Williams that's why he never plays much Jones is the reason this team will never get over the hump
The most inexplicably underused player in the NFL.
This kid should be playing middle linebacker. Who agree
Why isn't he helping in place of vanderesh?
He’s so talented…..I call him Micah “lite”……just hoping his off the field issues are behind him because he can definitely be a perennial double digit sack guy, he’s also very good on special teams, just has to clean up some penalties
Just an observation but Sam has turned into one of the best special teams coverage guy that the Cowboys have. He is consistently the first guy down the field during punt coverage. Which is pretty impressive considering he's a DL
I mean I would be scared to catch the ball too if someone as big as sam running full speed was coming after me.😂 Doesn't he run like a 4.4 40
He ran a 4.46 40 time weighing 261lbs that is ridiculous. Speed x Mass = Force meaning you better fair catch everytime lol@@briantownsend8943
Last year he matched D-Law's numbers in half the snaps. Play the dude
SAM WILLIAMS SHOULD START - *PERIOD.*
He's gotta hot-head, and because of that, the organization doesn't trust him not to get silly penalties. That's ironic because this team is always getting penalized, regardless. So, put the man on the field.
Sucks we didn't get overshown ...... Ugh. He was supposed to be his replacement at linebacker. Dudes play the same speed and style.
🔥 Sam DeWill 🔥---Sam "break da will" of😅 da opponents
💯 #54 👿 Beastmode 👿 💯
He needs to be implemented more often now, for better good by playoff time😮 fasho
With Fowler and Armstrong gone sam should get more reps. Sam needs to play with Micah more. I hated when Quinn would not play both of them. It was like sabotage
Williams needs to play de so Parsons can play lb. Let the lion roam and get Williams more reps. Micah can blitz from anywhere. Go Cowboy's
Parsons need to gain at least 25 to 30 pounds he's way to small I would trade him you could get a he'll of alot for him
Lol...watch the Eagles rep against Maliata again, notice Mazi getting double teamed yet not really moving
The guy is a living, breathing PI machine. You can aways count on him for a negative play.
Monstrous display presented here...😮
Thx Bro 😊
Sam gonna be a superstar eventually he needs more playing time
He Needs to play more I think he's better than Dorance Armstrong
Most important thing you see on the Eagles footage…Lane Johnson false starting every time
Him n Michael are the same type of players them both on the field same time can reck a offense up
I love his power right off the ball...
We should start him at end and let parsons play LB .
He hasn’t done much this season
He’s a beast if u start him in madden
Uncle Sam wants you
I think Williams is a starter on most other Dlines. His physical traits are the same as Micah, he’s got the same speed, height/weight, just maybe just not as agile. He’s taking longer to develop then Micah, but Micah was a freak specimen who was an elite pass rusher immediately when he didn’t even play that position in college
he’s not as fast as parsons😂😂
Hes heavier and an inch taller than parsons
@@ethancrazyhorseharris6205parson ran a 4.39 and williams ran a 4.46 weighing 20 more pounds. Thats damn near the same 40 and both fast.
Slam is stronger than Micah but Micah more agile. Speed is a wash. Blessing to have them both. I do think Slam can match Micah's sack totals I really do..if he had more playing time.
@@kI-cq5xq parsons has gained weight since draft brotha he’s every bit of 255 and how would you know if he’s stronger? id like to see the 225 test with both
Slam Williams needs to live up to the name and be dominant down the stretch. He needs to make some real noise along with the rest of the D line. The secondary plays much better when the opposing quarterback doesn’t have time to throw the ball. And Tony pollard has to make big plays. The offense is unstoppable when he gets in the end zone or rips big run plays it shouldn’t be just all about cee dee lamb.
Hmmm he hasnt done much. 😢
He’s done well considering the amount of snaps he’s getting!!
Great. Put him at DE and let Parsons play LB..
Either move D-Law to tackle and start Sam, bench D-Law and start Sam, or move Micah back to linebacker and start Sam. Preferably the latter. Micah cannot beat the best tackles in the league. He's too small and gets exposed each game he goes against them. I think they're intentionally trying to stunt his growth because they know they can't afford him and Parsons when it's contract time.
Oh shut up. He's not playing as much because he's mentally a basket case and they don't trust him.
