I thought I was going crazy when I realized they did not do cheddar and sour cream. I started asking myself if I made the flavor up or confused Lays with Ruffles. Glad to know that I am just as crazy as I was before the episode.

I wholeheartedly believe that the difference between Link's initial reaction and his actual judgments is because he often sticks with his preconceptions of how good/bad something will be instead of how he's actually reacting to things.

The Stax chips are a prime example of Link and his ranking things. If his mind determines it isn’t good, it doesn’t matter the actual result, he will give it a much lower score. There are some exceptions but he’ll actively like something and give it a 10 or 20.
I think it’s more so on the recycle potato taste that they all share

Link gets crankier as he ages
Link doesn't judge them based on taste on their own and only judges based on his preconception. It's why his scores are almost always inconsistent to his reaction to the taste.

I feel like in order to keep link unbiased towards the flavors, the best thing to do would be to blindfold both of them and have them taste the flavors without knowing what they are. Rhett’s able to stay neutral, but link seems to give a score based on his conception of the flavor instead of his actual reaction

Link is definitely just ignoring how to play gut check at this point. Like, he said the spicy dill was better than regular dill, then Rhett said one thing and Link responded "okay, you've swayed me" Like no! That's not how you gut check! It's supposed to be the gut reaction, not what you think after discussing it!
This is one of my favorite things they do because it highlights Rhett and Link's personality quirks PERFECTLY!! I just love it so much when Rhett purposefully makes a lewd/controversial comment to elicit a response from Link and then slyly pauses to see what he'll do.
Rhett giving doing the eyes gesture for the salt and vinegar chips was perfect for me because they are also my personal favorites, and I am eating a bag as we speak.
I can’t believe they missed all the kettle cooked flavors easily the best.

They're thicker and have more flavor powder.
The texture is far superior to pringles. AND V was handing them to link upside down, when all the flavor dust is on the concave side of the chip 💔
