9F 92214 tackles 50 wagons on the Great Central Railway!

2023 marks the 50th anniversary of heritage trains running on the Great Central Railway. When preservation began, regular demonstration freight trains weren't even considered. Now they are often a highlight of our gala events.
At our special 50th anniversary celebration weekend, on the 17th of June 2023, GCR resident British Railways 9F no. 92214 was put in charge of 50 wagons, which themselves can only run thanks to the hard work of different volunteer groups. Look out for mixed freight, tank wagons, mineral wagons and vans.
