I used to be a mechanic . I do have a ton of the Snap On tools . This though is one reason why they are slowly going down the shitter . The Snap On people certainly have to know this from the Trucks that are parked instead of running around selling tools . Wise up or they will be gone and then no one will even have a place to replace and or repair these high priced tools .

No MAC vendor at my shop. But I really like Snap-on. I work hard for my money so I buy what I think is good for me, my Snap on guy gives me good deals even if the stuff is not on sale in the flyer.
Get the gear wrench set in my opinion. They have a 16 piece metric and 13 piece sae. They even have longer handle xl sets with 120t for way less then snappy and still superb quality.

Our snap dealer gets pissed at the office people cus they always bring out tool kits and make you buy so many for a deal. Month later when it don't sell he can't return it because they changed the part number and the old kits became obsolete.
Theres a snap on double ratcheting box end flex head wrenches wit 8-19, skips 9 and 11 tho, part number: xfrm705 pretty nice set, I like em, wish the flex joint wasn't as thick as it is and maybe it would been cool if they were reversible, I bought em when they first came out a couple months back for $505 plus tax now they are $520 on the website

i HATE when tool companies skips on the sizes they all ways skip the most needed sizes i think if gear wrench has the no skip set i would look at them i have also bought from tekton and got sets that dont skip
If I remember right, Mac offers a complete set for a LOT less. Worth looking into. A coworker of mine bitches all of the time because he bought the Snap-on sets and found out the next week that Mac offers a complete set for 1/2 the price. Just a thought. I love both companies.
That old style snapon prybar and driver handle type was from early too mid 90s. I Only know cause my brother had the set he never used bought back then. (I stole em)
As far as the long wrenches go I got the Matco ones that we’re on sale I think for 250. They went from 10 to 19mm, I ordered the 8mm too. They are basically gearwrench, but they are nice. Might want to check those out way cheaper. Still love my Snap On stuff, but that was the better deal.
Neither set duplicates sizes. Getting both will give you 10-19 no duplicates. Its actually kinda smart to offer them in two smaller sets depending on the needs of the user.
Do you have a video on clocking brake cans/replacing the diaphragm. The way these Utility trailers are built and the way we get our brake cans in from the manufacturer, I must clock it in order for the bolts to slide in the bracket without the air ports/hoses running on the frame. That seal always leaks after I try, any advice would help thanks. Good content as usual
I learned something a couple weeks ago,The Milwaukee M18 3/8 cordless impact is a not a beard trimmer.Had it near my beard pulling out a few hairs of my beard out and it hurt.Was tightening a bolt not paying attention,impact with an extension on it in my beard and I felt it

85988 Gear wrench...there not as slim but there is everyone you need in metric and fractional....srrfxlm52t matco is what I use for flex heads and there slim and longer ...for all 3 sets I have less than $600 in them..
I bought both sets, good wrenches. Compared to the matco equivalent (bought it as well) I would pay the extra $350, for that feel good factor in my 🧤. Work really good for brake jobs and drive belts on most passenger vehicles. Js
Matco had a double end box end set with the 0 offset and the flex head ratcheting on the other end that goes from like 10 to 19 I think. I have it and love it.
Snap-on's prybars and their snap ring pliers with the screw to index inner to outter are my top 2 don't waste your money on them Snap-on tools, they are garbage. I broke the tip like that on 3 out of the 4 in my set and returned them and got them warrantied and sold them. All I was trying to do was pry a cast iron cap out of a tractor draft link with the snap ring removed and they cracked like butter on cast iron not stainless or good steel, cast. Also the snap ring pliers are the same way they pop tips off like crazy. They must have got a good deal on some cheap tool steel when they made all those...
Those sets aren't weird. 10,13, 17, 19 is your standard DIN set. I'm not sure why the 15 is there. Maybe a mechanic would know. I'm presuming it's for an oversized or undersized head. The other set is a mix of outstanding ISO (16 and 18), JIS (12 and 14) and DIN (11mm for a 7mm bolt). If you're a mechanic, working on all sorts of makes; I completely appreciate wanting to have no skips. Whereas, in my situation, that 10, 13, 17, 19 is way more than enough metric.
I answered my own question going down the rabbit hole. 15mm is GM? Audis using 11mm; Germans in general mixing between ANSI and DIN. 10mm bolts showing up with 12, 14 and 17mm hex heads. I do not envy you guys. That said; I HAVE to have every Torx, Phillips, Slotted, Allen, Pozi, and Robertson and Xeno on me at all times; and I just roll with it. So, I guess I relate.
I got both Gearwrench sets and have had no issues. I got them on sale at NAPA years ago. Same warranty as Snappy and a fraction on the cost. Both ends are a little smaller and fit in tighter spaces than my Snap On. The Snap On are a bit more bulky
well if So is doing the dirty wrench "deal", then I recommend giving your money to matco. and I would make sure that you buy the matco wrenches in front of the SO guy, just to rub it in. but thats' me. ;)

The ratcheting end does flex on the 120xp Gearwrench sets. I’ve got them in metric & sae. No skips. They are GREAT.

Turbo mounting bolts on a mx13 back right corner bolt. The 13mm was the only wrench thin enough to grip it and long enough to break it loose.
