    I bought one of those $10 junipers from them, and now it's one of my best trees. That might say more about my collection than the nursery stock, though.

      Very nice! We all start somewhere! Now go document its development as it will give you some great progression success and achievement as you go thru this hobby.

    Love these tours! So many bonsai nurseries I’ve never heard of before. I’ve only been to 2 bonsai nurseries in SoCal.

      You should visit more of them! I have several more planned before heading back to work.

      @@BaikoenBonsai I'd love to see videos of Evergreen Gardenworks and Telperion someday too! ;)
      I love nurseries that focus on rare cuttings or raw thick material. (I guess because they are more realistically obtainable and affordable)

    Nice garden and tour. One question though: Are you paying for time?

    • @BaikoenBonsai
      @BaikoenBonsai  Рік тому +3

      When you purchase a field grown or a pre-bonsai, you are paying not just for the tree. But the time that artist or person put into the tree. I hope that makes more sense. So when you buy a 20 year old tree, you are really paying for the time involved to grow and style the tree.
