As Sub Zero, if you have your opponent in the corner, you can place an ice klone and then ice-port (lvl 20 ability) behind them, pushing them into the klone.
IPuntBabies Slide works as well, but it can become predictable and punishable. The teleport can be too, but it's harder to fight the teleport when cornered with a klone.
As a scarecrow main, i advise not to spam your panic port ability, since it can easily be punished by a plethora of attacks so use it wisely. (For example trapping somebody in the corner or giving yourself some space)
Patrick felton well i think if you know the character, you' know what to avoid, for instance, you know you have to avoid distance fighting against deadshot and you'll want to avoid being too close to a flash player.
Good tip for Batman: The best way to use Batman's bat tech trait is to use them when trying to open up your opponents blocking. For example, when attacking with a combo, if your opponent blocks your full combo string, you can immediately send a mechanical bat to stop your opponent from punishing your blocked combo string, as the bats connect on hit, thus interrupting a follow-up attack. Allowing you to continue rushing down your opponent without being interrupted. The more bats you have active, the more you can interrupt your opponent.
I've won so many matches with catwoman using her low whip ability, seriously it's such a good way to punish people who like to keep away and zone as it brings them towards you, Meter burn it adds an extra stomp and does a LOT of damage
Here's a Brainiac tip: use the beta drones as setups at the end of combos, especially the corner. For example, when you have you're opponent in a corner, you can do back 12 into beta bomb or beta drone a couple time. Also end combos in 231+3 or the dox drill (down-back 2) as they both end in a hard knockdown which allows a beta bomb/drone to be set up. Any other tips from any of you potential Brainiac players? Hey guys as a Scarecrow main i have a great tip: To REALLY pressure your opponent, hit the down 1 then do the 123 combo if that does not work after the combo do a meterburn overhead, it really confuses the opponent and they dont when to duck or not
As a joker main, I do often try and combo of the super, but I usually wait until the first health bar is gone before I use it. Once I do that, they'll more often then not clash it. Since I have no meter from just using my super, I'll lose the clash and they just gained back all the health they lost. So now I have no meter and no damage.
i main canary. when you end your combo, end with the handspring into 112 canary drop. if they don't block it, do regular canary drop, as it will land as a crossup reset for extra damage. if they do, use the close one to catch em slippin
I main Red hood and to play him properly use a lot of his land mines which leaves him plus on block and he is very good against zoning when they are im recovery frames use your forward lunge it is a meterless meterburn roll but if u hav meter always meter burn it do it staggers opponent preventing more zoning and on wake up mix it up between the forward and backward lunges use his trait strings on your attack strings without gaps in it use back 13 due to it not having a gap and be very plus on block as well as using the very far bomb afterward and then lunging forcing them to block and give u plus frames when u use bomb mix between lungs and forward 23 because of the massive plus frames only do air gunshots to avoid projectiles and if u end a combo with 112
When you get the chance to place a far remote birderang, it can used in many ways. If your opponent brings you out of screen of the birderang, than activate it; they'll never expect it and try to follow up with an attack but get hit with it mid way
as a blue beetle main, a good punishment for zoners is to equip the swords and then do the shield bounce trick. with the swords, beetle stabs into the opponent and lifts them into the air only to drop them. with meter burn, it puts them super high up. there might be limited range to it but i've never had the problem of missing.
If you're playing Harley Quinn end a mid screen juggle with her 3,3 it causes a hard knockdown setting you up for a low or overhead. If your opponent blocks you initial combo string end it with a tantrum stance and dash in and go for the neutral jump 2, most people never expect it and are waiting for the cartwheel.
One last thing about Sub Zero, nobody seems to know that ending ANY combo string with trait makes it almost perfectly safe because you are too close to make a real clone, so Sub Zero will back up out of reach and your clone regenerates quickly since you didn't officially "use it"

Something that NOBODY seems to know about Atrocitus is his forward 2, 2, 3 string can ALSO cancel into down back 1 (Bloodnado). Any part of the combo can cancel into Bloodnado (Forward 2, Bloodnado) (Forward 2, 2, Bloodnado) or even (Forward, 2, 2, 3, Bloodnado). The trick is, you have to wait to input the bloodnado until the first hit of 3 hits. I think it's Mid, Mid, Overhead, Low. So instead of the 2nd hit being a hard knockdown overhead, it could be a combo extender instead. I always mix mine up and my friends keep saying "Wait, I thought that was overhead" but it's really overhead then low. And sometimes I let the 2nd overhead hit just to mix it up. Atrocitus is way better than some people think. Same for Aquaman. Aquaman has ridiculous reach on his normals, and his Down Down 3 shield is way too OP. Also his trait is the best in the game. For all ground combos, I use trait to escape, for all air combos, I use meter to escape. My friends are doing a full string and out of nowhere I'm blocking it then punishing. Aquaman and Atrocitus are my 2 favorite characters as of recent, but Green Arrow is my main and I don't see anyone playing him online really. So that's better for me because people don't know his mixups. Also, when I do see a Green Arrow, he spams arrows. It's sad. He's a fantastic rushdown, and he can counterzone anyone since his trait can duck and shoot arrows almost inconsequentially. I own a Playstation, if you want to add me, it's DarkParadiseDP. as a swamp thing main his back forward 2 is the best wake up anti air in the game. it stops any and all jump in cross ups ie batmans annoying jump 2 and the meter burn has armor and pops then in the air for additional follow ups
Atrocitus forward 2-2 leaves you open to be punished SEVERELY! So mixing up with that move would require you to stop, midway if you don’t get a hit confirm. I’d suggest stopping and down 1 into another move/combo.
I main brainiac and when you use his down back one in the air and hold forward you can get around zoners but they will catch on and antiair you so what you can do is, insted of holding forward hold back and while still in the air do it again (so fly twice in one motion) and then go into a dive kick(which btw can still hit if you land on the other side if meterburned) and start a combo and repeat
As sub zero make sure to use the meterburn db1. From point blank it is +3 and from Max range it is +15. After that you can check your opponent with d1 or go for more pressure. If you do this with the clone out it will do decent chip dmg and since you break the clone you have it back up almost immediately.
Green Lantern main here to tell you that if you want to get better with the best mid-tier character, remember to dash under them after MB DB1. If they don't see it coming, free reset with F3. If they've seen that shit before, grab em or B1 3 again.
Better tip for Cyborg imo is to always use trait or missles after hard knockdowns. Both moves are highly effective but have slow start up. This keeps you safe as you launch them.
For those who dont know about the 1,2,3 thing (cuz there seems like a lot) 1,2 and 3 are used in place of the buttons because ps and xbox have differnt buttons, if he said back x instead of back three everyone on xbox would do the wrong move
As Arrow: use hurrican bow alot in combos. What I mean with alot is about 2 Times'. It deels good damage and you can meter burn it to then extend your combo to a 40-50% combo.
That Catwoman tip though... In practical situations, against good players, trait meter burn is almost exclusively used for pressure on block or whiff punish. Especially in this patch that trait is (NRS basically destroyed it) not a real wake up, and the damage scaling of Catwoman is not the best, using trait as a combo ender (meter burn or not), in a lot of the old BnB combos, adds 1-2% or less damage compared to a non-trait combo ender like 1F2, or 122. If you mean to use the meter burn trait as a punish, then yeah you're right. But "punish" is the operative word here.
Some of the tips were really good. But some of them make me think that you didnt really play the character long enough. A good tip for Superman is you can backdash out of his frost breath or use any move instantly depending on frames right after his trait. But thanks for the video anyway

Tim Tomblin damage numbers are based on defense. lets say black adam has 600.00 damage combo and he performs it on a character with 1100 health. He will still do 600.00 damage If black adam does the exact same combo on a character with 1400 defense, he will only do about 500.00 (note that if the character has low defense black adam will do more then 600.00 damage) Health is the amount of damage you can take Defense is how much damage each move does Hope this helps 😄
The green arrow one wasn't very helpful. Don't over rely on ice arrow, fire arrows can be very effective for zoning and electric ones can allow for follow ups.

Ive actually played against a really good deadshot player who was really good at pressuring. Ive never seen deadshot be played like that. Remember, its not the character, its the player and how he PLAYS the character ya feel?

When u play scarecrow u can d1 into his trait if it's full and if u time it correctly u can activate his trait again while the opponent is still stunned by the previous trait use and u can combo off it if timed correctly and ending in a meter burn bf1 the trait bar is pretty close to being full again for another stun, this process can create some crazy pressure and sick corner game, check out PnD's channel thats where i got it lol
Don't expect to suddenly gete good and practice the combo strings a lot. Get comfortable enough that you can do them on instinct during matches when the opportunity shows.

I hate trying to use Darkseid’s Super Move. It’s so slow, and unless your opponent just started a jump, it’s very easy to block.
With firestorm, just by hitting a simple 1-1 you can immediately go into molten trap and not be punished from it because it becomes safe on block
Idk if I'm late on this but, for green lantern you can cancel his traits recovery time. Just input a special move after you press 4.

Wonder Woman is my main and my tip is not to use the 223 string too much because there’s a huge gap in it that can be easily interrupted.

About the Black Adam combo, you can just do B3 after the MB lightning cage. So the full combo would be F12xx4xxF12xxDB3MB, B3, Ji3xxDiveKick, F12,1+3

My Playstyle is a tanky zoner, basicaly a character that has high defenses like a tank but also a more pacifistic playstyle keeping myself at a distance and slowly chipping away at my opponent but still able to take hits if I need to.
Fact: u can do extra damage on supers by pressing 3 on each attack
U can also do it when someone is doing a super to I which reduces damage
HANTA NITSHTAKA do you mean pressing 3 like when your character hits the opponent in the animation
If u have black Adam level 20 ability (soul of Shazam) use it at the start for that DMG that big FAT JUICY DMG

How do you get the buttons for the combos to come up on the screen while you fight? It's probably really obvious I just can't figure it out

Ive actually played against a really good deadshot player who was really good at pressuring. Ive never seen deadshot be played like that. Remember, its not the character, its the player and how he PLAYS the character ya feel?

When u play scarecrow u can d1 into his trait if it's full and if u time it correctly u can activate his trait again while the opponent is still stunned by the previous trait use and u can combo off it if timed correctly and ending in a meter burn bf1 the trait bar is pretty close to being full again for another stun, this process can create some crazy pressure and sick corner game, check out PnD's channel thats where i got it lol

watch tournaments and stuff. then practice. takes time
Use the practice mode... alot of the practice mode lol, and learn the frame data of certain attacks as some of them are punishable
Don't expect to suddenly gete good and practice the combo strings a lot. Get comfortable enough that you can do them on instinct during matches when the opportunity shows.
Just get into it. I wasn't a big fighting game player when i got this. I'm great at it now
I'm a bane main and I kick them far then when they come back I do a venomous uppercut then I charge them
