Sears Silverstone Console Stereo - Recap and New Speakers

I've been putting this off a long time while looking for schematics. I never found them. So I'm going to do a partial recap anyway and make this old gal sing again like it once did for my grandparents.
I'm also throwing a couple hundred bucks' worth of new speakers into this just to see how those turn out. The console hasn't had its factory speakers for a long time on one side (they got blown up sometime in the past), so I don't feel too bad about this potential upgrade.
This is a Sears Canada Silvertone originally made by Fleetwood. These were never available in the US Sears stores, but I have seen images of Baycrest and Fleetwood models that use the same or similar audio chassis.
