My dad was aged 50 when he died, 3 years ago, he never had the chance to meet his idols or even see them live. I want to fulfill his dreams for him. 2 years ago when they were in Amsterdam I saw them live for the first time and I cried. I fucking cried. for three days straight. I loved the show, I loved everything about it. But I was also very very sad because my dad was'nt there..

I sadly doubt a sequel will actually come out, because the first movie sold pretty badly. The budget of PoD was 20 millons of dollars, while it only got about 14 millions of dollars.

One of the best gigs I went to when I was 16 or so was Tenacious D's first tour of England . I'm pretty sure it was at the Brixton Academy . Perfect venue for the The D . They did a great medley of british invasion tracks (I only really remember them going into the part of 'You never give me your money' from Abbey Road (the 'Outta college , money spent , see no future , pay no rent' transition) but because only a handful of people in the audience knew the lyrics and what was previously communal singing immediately became being stared at by youngsters who had obviously never listened to Abbey Road growing up 😅 . That was such a fun gig!!

They did a great medley of british invasion tracks (I only really remember them going into the part of 'You never give me your money' from Abbey Road (the 'Outta college , money spent , see no future , pay no rent' transition) but because only a handful of people in the audience knew the lyrics and what was previously communal singing immediately became being stared at by youngsters who had obviously never listened to Abbey Road growing up 😅 . That was such a fun gig!!
At first I thought "Oh no, this might be sad"

Jared Willebeek-LeMair I some of the songs. Like beezleboss, classico, master exploder and kickapoo. The rest were not that good imo. Compared to their self titled album, it bombed...
