I agree with JUST about EVERY single description!!!!!! Except for the "too clean" opinion. It literally captivates me! I cannot get over it. I loved the leathery, smokey, description and sophisticated, then when you said snobby ahahhaha SO true! Which is why I'm intimidated to wear it out. I know when I'm wearing it, what it carries with it!!
I just bought this at the New York exhibit. So excited! I was torn between this and Rose Des Vents. This left such a delicate and delicious scent on my skin once it dried. Love it.
Love your description on all the notes, I just bought this at the LV store in Miami Design District. The only one out of the women’s line that tickled my fancy. My favorite out of the men’s line is Au Hasard.
It is a nice nighttime fragrance. It is not overpowering, very gentle. The base notes are what makes it work. The vanilla and cocoa gives it a warm hot chocolate vibe. Put on your slippers and read your favorite book with this one.
I have kept one bottle unopened for 5 years, then I opened it today and the liquid turned dark, ambery, cognac like. I guess this is normal for vanilla scents. But I was surprised that it got that dark 😄
I got this as a sample from my SA at Boston Copley LV. Took a hot shower and decided to spritz VERY LIGHTLY on my wrist because i knee its a woman's parfum. Oh my god. It smells like you've just had a conversation with the most interesting person you've ever met. I almost fell on my ass. My head filled with possibilities. What could i combine this with?? It's indescribable, this scent. It smells like class. Pure class. You will turn heads. I promise.
Yep, I think they really got this one right even though the drydown turns out to be super simple vanilla-is but I have to be honest, I am loving the simplicity in the drydown in this one :) xoxo

I have not tried all of the LV perfumes, but the ones I have smelt have been very ordinary, nowhere near the value charged. I will try this one next time I am in there. I love Orientals, so it is a possibility for me. I hope I also like it because I seriously like the LV bottle! Have a lovely day and thank you for the video!
I like Contre Moi and Apogée actually. I was surprised that I liked Apogée after your review but it was really nice on the skin for me- soft but present... Contre Moi was a love! Brought the full size.
Is it suitable for men !! I smelled it on my friend n' I was like WOW , despite I observed its femininity but I think that most of niche fragrances are unisex ! What do u say?

I always end up liking weak fragrances... i mean it doesnt last long on me... but i really really like it i just hope it projects well and last long and i hope everyone will smell and appreciate its beauty! Its so unfair for the price!
Is this a season-specific fragrance or can it be worn all year 'round? I have the large bottle that I've worn for two years...but I live in L.A.- we don't have seasons out here. Btw, I love it!

Glad you like Contre Moi! It's my first and only LV perfume. I love wearing it on casual days. I like its longevity as well.

B4 making a full bottle purchase,be prepare the sillage is weak. To me , it's a close intimate scent. If require better sillage,needs over sprays

Yep, they do come in 10ml splash bottles as well but LV is a bit stingy with giving them out...
