I just love the tangents of this show. From the coastline restoration to field dog trials and training. The tangents are not filler. It’s easy to watch. Captivating. And wholesome. As someone who was spent over 100 hours watching and re watching these episodes The investment of my time has been well spent. A big Thank you to everyone behind the scenes that puts it all together. The hunting, the cooking and the spin offs with narration. It’s really is a hunting show unlike anything else
Grew up training hunting receivers, working and help setting up hunt test and field trials. Dad even trained multiple dogs and sold them down to a couple different folks in Arkansas. It was nice to see this. Hunting with a dog that know what its doing is the best.
Man, I really enjoy the different styles in Louisiana. I hunt Central Florida and when it’s overcast and rainy it’s considered supreme conditions. It was so cool to see thats the way in Louisiana too. Everywhere else I see is bright and sunny with clear skies. And there is no way their food even comes close. Love this series.
Love this series! Would love to see you guys come up to the Great Lakes and hunt Oct-Nov and do a series. Best waterfowl hunting / cooking videos out there!
Damn you boys really got that life stile down, good to see people coming together even though drought and other problems. hunting is just one of the best ways to bond and make new friends. and again Junior wiping out an awesome dish love to see it.
The ducks are not cooperating in Louisiana , I think you and Jay, and Ben and Joose, and Picou and the guys need to go to Saskatchewan or Alberta or North Dakota and blast some geese, and mallards and sandhill cranes.......That would be COONASS HEAVEN .....I think ya'll could blast a few limits and make memories of a lifetime .....As for the drought...NO WATER NO DUCKS ......but at least Ben got a doe and the food and libations were awesome as was the company.....I think this hurricane will raise the water levels in drought stricken areas. God Bless Louisiana
Idea... May have been drinking. But a Merch idea. Shirts hats blah blah blah "Split Reed" collaborative merch with the local spots you visit. Weather it be a duck camp or a restaurant the crew wants to support. Love the show, k love ya byee!!!!
@@danielbagbey Thanks for your work. Grew up hunting on a deer lease in Whiskey Bay Pilot Channel near Sherburne (The Lonesome Crow Hunting Lodge owned by Bucky Crowson). I live in Colorado now and deeply miss my roots, Duck Camp Dinners has filled a hole in my heart. Keep em comin, ill keep cheering
@@jayjohnson5016so glad we can do it! It has also shown me a way of life I would have never known. No one in my immediate family hunted, so I would have never had these experiences without the show. These times we capture are truly special and more people should experience this lifestyle!
Slow for ducks, especially with the drought last year in a lot of areas but regardless of how many ducks ended up in the bag, still always a great time!
I must not have a full palate... Pig tails? I have never consumed spam (the can type nor skunk possum &muskrat). I have never drank keystone, natty light or bush light.
ol boy cookin the cabbage is wild
The 44 minute length is great. more culture, hunting, camp life, more cooking, and allows viewer to be immersed.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
