This was really helpful! My hair is majority coarse, and I find it so much harder to manage than my softer, looser curls at the lower back of my head!
Wow. I bet some people who don’t have this kind of hair were wondering why you focus so much on those roots and the way the hair looks frizzy if you don’t give it the kibosh with technique and product. I am personally amazed that I finally found someone out there on social media with this kind of hair. My hairstylist literally told me “ Your hair does not grow out of your head as friends” because my hairs grow out of my head running away from each other lol! My crown area is particularly horrendous. I am waiting for my bounce curl brush now. Finally purchased it on a back order. Can’t wait to try some of what you are doing in this video. Thank you for this content. I finally feel seen! Lol!

I love your hair! My hair is straight, wavy, curly, and very course at the crown only. My daughter is biracial and her coursies are starting to come in at age 4. It’s super long. Not sure who to trust to cut her some layers at the top. Her hair is very similar to the little girl on your IG page. I’ve taken your advice with the products but you didn’t mention which innersense oil you used at the end of this video. They have more than one, if I’m not mistaken. I definitely need it with my top texture and my daughter’s hair for sure. Thank you for doing what you do bc girl… I’m 43 and never knew what to do with the course mess on the top of my head. I just put in moose while soaking wet and never break the cast bc wow. You’re awesome!! ❤

Love seeing your routine. Do you also use a leave in conditioner? If so, which one?
I don't usually use a leave in cream. But I use a gel as my primer and a mousse as my topper
