    I use shape tween to animate eyelids, articulation, flowing hair and cloaks, to animate liquids and fire, leaves and petals. It's really inconvenient to turn one character into another character with the help of shape tween.

    Thank you for a super set of tutorials, I now moved on from new user to quite confident. I hope you will continue to produce more.
    I like the fact that your tutorials are quite short and to the point. It’s perfect that you can go and have a practice after each one without information overload.
    Have you thought about a complete project walkthrough broken down into short stages?
    I am also wondering if you could cover an introduction to producing flash style games, room escape or adventure type things.
    Thanks again.

      Thanks for the great feedback! I definitely want to do a complete project walkthrough. It's bigger than anything else I've done so far though so I'm still trying to figure out the best way to approach it, to make sure it's as easily understandable as my regular videos.
      Currently considering walking through storytime animation. What other projects would you like to see?
      Regarding games/interactive stuff, I honestly don't have a lot of experience with these. Might look into it more in the future 🙌🏻

    Great video, short, sweet, straight to the point. You're saving everyone's time by doing it so professionally.
    Question:
    Can you somehow do this with png files? I'm trying to change it the same way you did, but it just does some weird stuff and I get no animation.

    • @loygeeAGAIN
      @loygeeAGAIN 2 роки тому

      im pretty late but because pngs arent shapes you cant do it
      i think if you trace the bitmap into shapes you might but idk

    I expected shape tweens to be easier and more intuitive for logo animation, but the results are always so strange and unpredictable. 😅 Even with the Shape Hints, the way Animate transitions from one shape to the next can be extremely weird. Such a shame, since all the other tweens feel like a lot more work :/

    How would animate something that goes from a small object to a large object, but on a circular path? I've read that you can't implement both a shape and motion, correct?

    Is there any way to do classic and motion tween without converting it to symbol first?

    • @devonkong
      @devonkong  3 роки тому +3

      Adobe Animate will let you create the tween, but it automatically turns the selected objects into Symbols. This can sometimes be a bit random, so it's good practice to create the Symbol yourself before doing the tween!

    This function is implemented very terribly. I'm trying to animate the part of the character's leg (fill+strokes) and just want to shift it to another position changing the anglles, since the limb goes into perspective. And shape twin does such a horror with such an elementary transformation.
    Even with hints - the result is distorted very much or even disappears somewhere from the working area.
    Before that, I tried to do the same in Moho - there you just take - move the points where you need and the program automatically interpolates them in the right order - without any deformations.
    I can't figure out how to implement this elementary action here. Classic twin - is not suitable for this (perspective) ....
    Anyway, thank You very much for Your videos! Very pleasant to watch and listen.

    • @sergiig2309
      @sergiig2309 8 днів тому

      just found "solutions")))
      1- snapping to points must be enabled when placing hints.
      2- if working with strokes+fills, after completing the animation of the layer, we need to create a copy of the layer. On one layer - leave shapes with fill, on the other - just strokes. And then - if the gods of deformation have mercy - the animation will go smoothly.
      Considering that this is just one part of one leg - such a pipeline of animation - seems too difficult to me in this program.
      As I understand it - i will need to additionally draw this limb in perspective and put it to a symbol with selection of frame, or be content with the lack of perspective using classic tweens)))

    Request is that, can you make a video on 3D tools, if we want to make some simple animations in perspective??
