- Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has accused a section of rift valley leaders close to President William Ruto, of meddling with Mt. Kenya politics and undermining him in his home region. Gachagua who was in Eldoret in the company of various cabinet secretaries and members of parliament, said the leaders are taking advantage to begin early succession politics in the Mt Kenya region.
It is too early for Gachagua to cry.He wont go far.

The issue in Mt. Kenya region is not Rigathi as an individual but the embarrassment to the region after supporting Ruto to the presidency.
