some questions that were answered in discord- Question 2: We still don’t have a price but the game will be paid and will be free of ads and microtransactions like the arcade version Question 4: they don’t have any plans to port to game to Android and PC yet, also i’m not sure if there even allowed to port the game to other mobile platforms Question7: , probably, in some photos shared in the discord i believe every tower included in the game, even rainbow rift, will be available from the start Question 8: Cross platform multiplayer is available across all consoles, but console players can’t play with apple players and vice versa Question 9: You cannot port save data from apple to consoles, not sure about porting data from console to console though
These are the answers in my own opinion. Question 1: It will probably be released between September and October. Pre orders might be in late August. Question 2: Hipster Whale has ported a game to switch, and that game is Piffle. Looking at the price, it is €16. So, my guess, CRC will probably be between 20 and 25 €. Question 3: I doubt it will be physical. Most games that aren't made by huge companies are just digital, and Piffle never had a physical release. So that is why I think it will only be digital. Question 4: It might come to more platform as some apple arcade games have been on adroid but it will have to mean that they will have to remove CRC from apple arcade. As for PC and PlayStation 4 It's also a maybe, but they should probably do it so that more people can play it. Question 5: Apple Arcade. I really don't know. If they don't allow transferring data, it will probably stay on Apple Arcade. Question 6: Maybe a little graphical improvement will happen. There could also be towers exclusive for their own console. Question 7: I highly expect all the towers to be out in the same time. I'm saying that because they did it with Piffle. Question 8: 50 50. I would like cross-platform multi-player, but besides that, I have nothing else to say. Edit to question 8: Yes it will happen. Question 9: They don't do it for Crossy Road, so I don't think they will allow you to transfer data. But if you are trying to transfer data from a console to the same console will probably work. Question 10: Yes.
I think Piffle is a good example of how Hipster Whale might manage Crossy Road Castle. Piffle was a digital only game, but I think that would be a mistake with Crossy Road Castle. Hipster Whale has no ground game. I don't see Crossy Road merchandise in the aisles of Walmart… no games, no plush chickens in the shape of voxels. Going retail might be too big of an endeavor for Hipster Whale, which is why something like “Limited Run Games” might be an alternative.
I don't know. If I was managing the game, I'd want to make something new, something unique for all players. Actually, if I was managing Apple Arcade at Apple, I'd want several exclusive towers… like Pitu in Alto's Adventure or the Lost City in Alto's Adventure.
It's tough holding out until the next Nintendo system is launched, but that's what seems to be the intelligent move. Even a Switch is around $300… and that's without the game. I think it would have been better for Hipster Whale to wait until the next system is launched - especially if there's backwards compatibility. That way, Crossy Road Castle could take advantage of the new hardware, while still being able to access the huge market of the Nintendo Switch.
@@PhoticsTVtotally agree with you ya! But anyway Hipster whale simply can’t wait that long for it! Seriously now this game is ONLY Suitable on Apps and Switch! 🤔🤷🏻♂️
@@monkeyguy80 It certainly is a tough wait, especially if Hipster Whale doesn't know the launch date of the next Nintendo system. But, if Hipster Whale can make Crossy Road Castle a launch day title and take advantage of the new hardware, that could get the extra attention that this game needs to succeed. There was already a Nintendo Direct and I didn't see Crossy Road Castle mentioned. Without big exposure like that, is the game truly going to be noticed? I think the game needs something extra to stand out in a crowd of games. It's not like Apple Arcade where there's only one new game per week.

I laughed too hard at the "you know what i mean" 😆
😄
I hope they make it outside of apple arcade!!! I want to play so bad, but paying for apple arcade for just one game seems crazy to me :P
I'm so disappointed with Apple Arcade, that I don't even want to use the free month. I had to reuse old footage to create this video. 😄
So I’m assuming the game on Apple is NOT going have ANYMORE castles

@@PhoticsTVTotally agree thank you for responding Love Your Videos and thank you 😊for
Apart of playing on Switch, the rest of the consoles are not worth buying for this game ya! 🤔🤷🏻♂️
