As always I enjoy your coloring and color choices! All your different media you use. I am venturing into trying many different myself. So thanks for sharing I love your frogs and fairy tale coloring book! All fun choices.
I’ve never seen that Fairy Shampoo book, so fun! I think it’s funny when you turn to a page and I’m like, “ooh I love that!” And then you say you don’t like it. You are too hard on yourself, your work is beautiful and I’m always inspired by something you do.
I have that japanese cat coloring book and the irojiten pencils work really well on that paper. I was coloring in a joanna basford book and remembered your tip on using the markers to dot to create texture and it worked so well so thank you. I also have that witches coloring book (also have the cat version) and had so much fun coloring in the picture where she was walking the dog :)
Q lindo pintas serias tan linda de escribir en español los lápices q usas sobre todo esos q te quedan con luz. Q se ve en brilloso pque hay q pintar con lápiz de madera para q no traspase la hoja.
I also love the books with the cats. I bought them both, still need to colour in them. The paper is smooth, and I think the Pitt pens will work great. For your finished picture, I think doing the cat in a darker colour will let it pop more. Being white let it blend too much. I like the colours you used, it's a great soft colouring, just the cat need some extra work.
I have yes. It was a bit less enjoyable than on better paper, but it works fine, imo. I do it in more or less the same way I always do, but I make sure to not go over an area when it's still wet. And I think two layers are probably the maximal amount. Not that I often feel like doing more than two layers even on paper that can take it; one base-layer and one more chaotic one to even out the streaks is usually enough. A thing I like doing on amazon paper is to shade the picture with waterbased marker dots instead of with pencils; that gives some really fun results if you feel like trying it:). Otherwise I don't really have any special tricks. Don't expect a 100% smooth finish unless you go over with pencils and don't go over the paper too much or before it's dry so it doesn't tear, are my main advices;)
That phrase, ‘when it glitters everything is fine’ just SPOKE TO ME. Lol! Commenting as I watch
Haha, yeah, it's my main fix for when things go wrong x)

Have you tried using water-based marker on Amazon papers ? what was your experience? Do you have any tricks to use on thin papers?
