    Love this review, especially the handling part on the bad road, and also about how the 540° camera helps in driving.
    Put my heart at ease now . Hopefully still can get the 4k rebates.

    Agreed. The poor menu English spoiled the initial ownership experience. A few bugs here and there and product knowledge of it's sales force needs tremendous improvement. Overall good buy over Jaecoo

    I am seeing a trend of people downplaying the value of Chinese cars by mentioning their lack of proven track record or their abysmal second hand value. The way I see it, in order to maintain their proclivity towards a higher value-proposition of japanese cars, they go out of their way to highlight those shortcomings.
    In other words, They need to provide justification to downgrade the Chinese cars so that they can feel at ease spending more money for their beloved japanese brands.
    Again, that's just the way 'I' see it. Feel free to disagree.

      J7 definitely, I just couldn't withstand the head unit on the Chery, interface looks so aftermarket, laggy and very reflective like there's a white layer on it.

    • @tkdfever
      @tkdfever 4 місяці тому +1

      for me, i'll suggest you to buy Tiggo 7 pro. I have tried the Jaecoo J7, it looks good, but definitely not that much more "premium" compare to Tiggo 7 Pro. The J7 with higher ground clearance makes the body roll much more noticeable. If you want to save some fuel, Tiggo 7 also perform slightly better. But, i won't chosse either, because Japanese brands provide better driving dynamics, especially the CX 5. Hope you will find this useful.

    • @thecompressor9595
      @thecompressor9595 4 місяці тому +2

      @tkdfever CX5…don’t buy, especially don’t buy any Mazda models….you might get caught by mazda engine fire and you have to pay to replace engine like buying proton saga. Also, mazda parts also don’t have too with poor aftersales for mazda. Think twice before buying mazda. Even chery or jaecoo is now safer than driving mazda. Not all Japanese car brands are more durable but only Toyota and Honda are good cars even not as good as chery and jaecoo in terms of durability and features and performance. Anyways, but overall better than any of Japanese brands especially Mazda

    I will take a Japanese or Korean car any day. Chinese cars all show. Reliability of drive train and fuel efficiency terrible. Warranty claims still an unknown factor. Good features though. Good thing they are Japanese and Koreans to offer more features and value.
    For the moment electric cars seem a better option from Chinese makers especially established one like BYD.

    • @emilylimsl9884
      @emilylimsl9884 4 місяці тому +3

      Not all Japanese cars are also reliable and also not many features. The only can buy Japanese cars are only Toyota or Honda only, the other japanese brands are in the history. Did you know that many people also complaining about aftersales and quality for Suzuki and Subaru, and today very rare to see Subaru and Suzuki nowadays than before. Even Southeast Asia countries have also closed down for Suzuki and Subaru factories. Even Nissan also no longer selling well, same thing quality and aftersales problems. Even Tan Chong also no longer assembles Nissan cars and now focusing to GAC vehicles.
      Moreover, These three as mentioned above, specs also not really good but look dated but looks boring but bringing same underpowered engine too unlike other countries offered better specs.
      Even Mazda also started to get irrelevant where Mazda CX5 facelift just recently launched this year where already debuted two years back but yet bringing small infortainment screen and also some of features like premium speakers also don’t have and yet mazda usual claimed that mazda still premium. But coming long term driving experience, there are Mazda owners complaining about poor spare parts and aftersales too. Even mazda owners also complaining about Mazda engine also can catch fire and cost replacement like buying new cars
      So don’t expect that Japanese cars are not doing well nowadays. If you are still afraid of Chinese cars durability, but no, today Chinese cars durability have improved better than before and now beats japanese cars too and now Korean cars and Chinese cars have better durability than japanese cars
      So you buy new chery, but in few years time, didn’t see any problems coming from chery owners and material doesn’t looks cheap as japanese cars. Even Chery also bringing better specs than Japanese cars
